Not my first Sins II video, I'm definitely keeping an eye on this one. Features such as new 64 bit engine which fully utilizes multicores, each projectile tracked, visual upgrades, etc. all welcome. I realize this is still early release and maybe some elements were left at default settings for clarity but I hope the UI is resizable. Dominates way too much screen real estate even at 4K. The updates to the soundtrack are nice as well. The fact it's not an entirely different game than the first one, as some commenters dis is a plus in my opinion. The game was complex enough to learn in the first place and the formula works so why fix it if it's not broken? Should make the transition easier and more enjoyable. The zoom-ins to highlight new details is a nice touch. Thx for posting this up.
I’m excited to play this on steam when it comes out I’m hoping that you can have more then 1 titan and more interesting planets or events happening in the galaxy.
Well you can't have more than one Titan but you can go into the entity files into the game and have up a maximum of 50 Titan per Empire they made it very easy to mod even I can do it by going into files and just changing a couple of ones and zeros
I'm trying now distant worlds 2, its great! Awesome feeling of really governing your faction. However..I miss the details of space fights just like in Sin, I will wait for like a year and buy it probably, thank you!
Hmmm. I'm still no sure if this Game will be worth it. Right now it is just to similar to it's predecessor. So far I see no reason to pick up this one, when the older Sins still holds up.
You're welcome to come on the discord for sins 2 and talk to the developers they've been experimenting with a lot of stuff, so it's a lot more stuff they have cooking
@@crazychinese7315 it is worth picking up even though it's not on steam, and the reason why it's not on steam because it's in Early Access and you people like you do the fact that they're constantly changing experimenting with downvote the game into Oblivion
I know! Isn't that great? I absolutely hate when a sequel tries too hard to be different from the first game that made it popular. If it ain't broke, don't fix it, just keep on polishing... too many devs think we want more bloat... nah... we want increased performance, maybe better graphics, mod support, QoL.
Well to be honest that's quite a complicated question to answer because each Titan has a specific role that they fill the Ankylon Titan is one of the strongest defensive Titans in the game can withstand for servals minutes a massive fleet, While the Ragnarov is very weak defensively but offensively is very powerful with its railgun
@@avatarwarmech I was wondering what your opinion was, in the first game, I generally leaned towards the Ankylon since it was great at fleet support with great abilities, but in Sins 2 I can't really decide which is better. They definitely balanced them better in my opinion this time around.
@@williamkirshbom3163 is the updates go on the Ankylon Titan does fit more of that fleet support role that it was supposed to fit making it very hard to kill when you have an entire fleet backing it up
@@williamkirshbom3163 they also made it to where they fit both of the factions they made it to where the factions actually feel different this time around like the the loyalist faction feel more like a defensive faction
I like how they do the minor factions in this game. They will be very similar to how they are in Age of Empires 3 where you can get unique units and technologies.
Not only that you can get some pretty good technology from them that even if you do rank up your reputation that you want normally see that they have an auction for

True But I will say this the dev get more money to put in the game , that why it looks so great and plus it was on steam if the dev made big game play changes people would just downvote the game and the reviews would stay there with being taken off

Graphic in the first game was way more immersive. This just looks like a comic.
It's honestly because of the militaristic colors that I'm not running

Which titan do you think is better in the current state of the game, Ankylon or Ragnarov? Do you think one is objectively better than the other?
