This week though, on Episode 9, I am happy to share with you what all the house looks like from top to bottom. Do you like house tours? Italian houses tours? If so, this video is for you!
Mind you, when we started this process, we didn't really know that later on we would have our own TH-cam channel, so forgive us some parts of the video may be a little rough. I know you understand :)

The more knowledge and info you gather now, the easier it will be for you to know where you want to be and what type of house when you're ready.
There's something for everyone in Italy. The South tends to have more affordable properties, but you can also find them in the North if you look hard 😉.

I'm curious about whether the purchase bypassed the real estate agent. I hope so, because they certainly didn't do anything to help the seller. Nice little place you found yourself!

As the seller didn't have an exclusivity contract and it was the seller herself who showed us the house the real estate had no involvement at all.
Their loss 😉

We couldn't rent the IKEA van, we had to get IKEA to deliver to us. It was lucky that ours was the last postcode they deliver to. 😉
@@rossinniandco After seeing your vlog i checked what it would cost for me to have them deliver to me. Yikes! To much for a few things for sure. Good if a lot.

Hi Larry, our house is very unique in that it has a garden and great curb appeal.
Usually you don't find houses with gardens inside town as most people have plots of land on the outskirts

Your house is beautiful! Love the vaulted ceilings, white walls, beautiful views from the windows, garden. Congratulations! This will be me and my husband in 3 years or less. We plan to move to Italy and buy a home also. 😊

Very nice commitment and work.
I worry though, about dangerous molds being in all these houses.
It needs to be bleached out and killed first, before tampering with it, before removal and before re-construction, and before painting.

I would change the floor plan of the house. The first floor I would turn into the living and kitchen area. The attic into a bedroom on suite. The ground floor either an extra bedroom or utility room. It is a very exciting journey the two of you have undertaken. Good luck and many blessings.

Agreed, kitchen is always on ground floor, so you're not combating stairs with food/groceries.
They could do a combo in the kitchen.
Thank you for sharing, I love your new property especially that is has a garden. You are living my dream, a little house in Italy with a garden. I hope to buy a house in Italy one day and hopefully get to meet you guys in person. I love to follow along your renovation and how much its costing you guys and such details. I will be here waiting for your next video. If you ever get a volcano table, that is a forever table that you can put on your balcony, you never have to worry about it from the weather nor fading, but I know those tend to be expensive, but since you are there in Italy, maybe you can find a second hand one, or have an antique shop look out for one for you.

Having a garden is amazing, as many houses in town just don't have them due to space. People tend to have pieces of land outside of town but for us the garden is more than enough for now 😉.
Check out Molise! A very underrated region with heaps of potential.
I don't know what a volcano table is. Are they made of wood?
@@rossinniandco Volcanic tables are made in Italy out of Volcanic rock/stone. I found them allot in the Amalfi area, but I believe they have them all over Italy. I think if you google it, you will see how beautiful they are.
