We have been taking care of this 2014 Honda CB1100E since 1999 when it was purchased by its current owner. It had 4,000 miles on it at the time. Over the years, it has been upgraded with Oxford heated grips, a luggage rack and rear bag mounts, an oil cooler protection screen, and a robust set of T-Rex engine guards. Additionally, it boasts a great-sounding Yoshimura slip-on exhaust.
Recently, we performed a summer service and replaced the front brake pads and rotors, ensuring this bike is ready for the road.
Included with the bike are one factory key, the owner's manual, our service records, and a clean WA title.

Honda’s tribute to its legendary past was a major success in 2013, especially among fans who still adore the groundbreaking 1969 CB750. The design of the CB1100E incorporates elements from several classic CB models, such as the 1100F-inspired fuel tank and the 400F-like right-side four-into-one exhaust. This blend of vintage styling hit all the right notes for Honda enthusiasts.
For 2014, Honda offers two versions of the CB1100E: the standard and the Deluxe. Both models now feature a new six-speed gearbox, replacing last year’s five-speed, and an updated LCD instrument display with a clock, gear-position indicator, and an enhanced trip computer. If you’re drawn to the CB1100, we see no reason to deter you.
The CB1100E captures the essence of what made Honda a household name, combining it into a cohesive package that feels greater than the sum of its parts. Its 83 horsepower may not be groundbreaking by today’s standards, but the bike’s fuel-injected power is delivered smoothly and linearly, providing a sense of ample power at all times. The new six-speed transmission delivers power to the drive chain more positively and precisely than the previous five-speed. Honda also added one tooth to the rear sprocket (now 40 teeth), and with the new gearbox’s slightly overdriven 0.964 top-gear ratio (compared to last year’s 1.111 top ratio), cruising RPM has been reduced slightly. However, the bike still exhibits a minor buzz in its rubber-mounted handlebar at around 75 mph.
For those seeking a full dose of nostalgia without the hassle of owning a 40-year-old motorcycle, the CB1100E is hard to beat. While some bikes are faster, more advanced, or more exotic, the CB1100E remains true to its roots: reliable, ready to ride anytime, and built to last. Now, with the invaluable benefit of 46 years of Honda’s engineering experience, it’s a timeless classic ready for modern adventures.
