This lesson is exceptionally helpful Aditi as I have always had training from male teachers and never has anyone explained the difference between male and female scales! As a result I have always struggled to hit the higher notes being a girl and trained to sing from the male range ! Honestly! But thank you for sharing this valuable information. Better late than never I suppose.

However, people like us who really want to understand basics which we hear many times being told by singers in shows and we get really curious about the terms, for us u have explained it so so well...thanks for showering us with your knowledge. I like singing bt idk anything abt music 😅😅. Not even 1%of basics bt still i sing the songs after listening to the singers lyk i do copy their singing 😂😂. Your videos are really helpful ma'am. You are an excellent teacher. I sing comfortably without music. But when I try any song with karaoke or actual music, my voice gets suppressed and causes strain on my throat. Please guide me for this.
Karaoke scales are generally very high with faster tempo than the orignal song. It is obvious if you sing in a higher scale , your throat will get damaged.
