Non supercharged was 134 hp like my wife's '92 All-Trac (all wheel drive version) that she uses as her daily driver. They fit 7 people and the rear seats fold flat and flip up and the middle seats can be removed so that you could use it to haul stuff or put a mattress in there to go camping. My dad had two until my nephew decided to wreck the 1996 All-Trac Supercharged one into a tree. Now he has the '92 RWD version. My daughter has a '93 with a standard stick shift and crank windows. I just put a timing belt on a 2002 Sienna for a neighbor. It is the hand me down kid car that she replaced with a 2018 Sienna. The 2002 has over >350,000 miles. Original engine, original transmission, starts and drives like new. Her 2018 has almost 50,000 on it now and runs like a top. I have serviced tons of cars and trucks in all makes and models and the Toyota and Honda models have always been the longest lasting and least troublesome. That’s why I own three Toyotas, the lowest mileage of which is >155,000 miles, the highest is >240,000. I'm driving my 4th Chrysler minivan, a 2014 Ram C/V with 160,000 miles. 2 of my previous Grand Caravans went just over 250,000 miles and were retired because of rust. The other one hit a moose and was totaled at 190,000 miles. The only major repair for any of them was a transmission rebuild at about 210,000 miles. I have no complaints with Chrysler reliability.

Toyota Siennas are the MOST reliable vehicles in the world. Can't go wrong with that. A proven winner and legendary van that will last a very long time and will have amazing resale value. If taken care of, you can expect to get a MINIMUM of 300,000 miles with a Sienna. Can't say that about any other van.

But then again our family vehicle is a 2008 town & country and we’ve never had a single mechanical problem to this date, it’s been the perfect vehicle. We own a 2011 sienna. We bought it in 2017 and went with them due to reliability. My wife talked to people who owned dodge and Chrysler vans and heard they just were in the shop a lot even new ones and to stay away. We only had one major issue a oil cooler line burst, and 2 minor issues the passenger side middle window doesn't work and one of the sliding door cables snapped. I'm very happy with it and how owned a lot of different makes of cars with variety of problems. I wouldn't hesitate to buy the new Sienna Hybrid.

Two things that are missing in today's minivans especially Toyota. Lack of rear swing out windows and no ability to fit 4x8 sheets of construction materials. Seams like a little thing but if you want to sleep in a rest area or carry animals or vent some wetsuits after watersport session those windows were crucial. Instead, whole bunch of useless electronics.

Partial to Sienna, especially the earlier models- they seem to be more robust than the following iterations. We've a 2007 Sienna XLE with 322 K+ miles (single owner); same engine & transmission. Took the van "car" camping last year from east coast to Washington state, back thru Texas and hit the Smokey Mountains on the way back. Planning more of the same with our van.

I’m currently in the market now and love the Pacifica plug in hybrid. I was considering it until finding out about the fire hazard recall that Chrysler still doesn’t have a fix for along with the price to change out the hybrid battery pack. The lifespan of the packs are 2-4 years and supposedly over $12k to replace. It’d be hard for me personally to own one knowing that I’d have to spend that much on a new pack even once or twice over its life cycle. Now I’m leaning towards the Sienna bc of the hybrid. The odyssey needs to catch up and offer a plug in or at a minimum a hybrid, maybe offer AWD.

i think i'd go with sienna. never owned a minivan but I decided that this will be the car that I will work for since we travel all over in CA, NV, and OR, so I think the AWD features, definitely the AC system, and room will be what draws me toward the sienna. plus, I recently looked online and i saw somewhere if you purchase a 2021 sienna they will give you lifetime warranty for transmission repair. so I guess they are that confident at the specific dealer I was looking at.
