Aerith starts being the best character again from chapter 13 but it’s too late. They fumbled her character in chapters 1-12 so disappointing

I wonder how you judge who the best is.., by what criteria. A character you think is cool, virtuous, cute or the character you most identify with. Most guys will identify with Cloud I think...of youre young somewhat mature and have a reasonably stable path, friends, a relationship...Cloud is likely your guy, simply because he is the big words big promises main character who realized that his life was a lie but not only does not give up but maintains a healthy game.
I think that we as players wont rest easy knowing Cloud is on top of his game, so the love interests must be settled once and for all in part 3.
Cloud says domething to Aerith that we cant hear when they interlock fingers on the Skywheel. Probably unlockable content, or just a revelation.
My guess is that he tells her she will never be alone, that he will always be close by, protecting her. To which she slightly gasps with relief and exhiliration and smiles.
