Hi, I'm shooting street with a GoProHERO10 using a VOLTA Battery Grip. I'm shooting batteryless and can shoot for over 90 minutes without overheating.
Dont forget,you can do a full nights time lapse without an attached battery pack
Using Hero 10 with V1.4 and with and without Media Mod, the camera kept crashing and there was high battery drain when Both were off. I then got a notice on the Hero 10 saying "Updating Volta". After that all worked normal. Nice video-Thanks!
Great review thank you! I’m having trouble with my Volta staying connected to my go pro. The pairing drops out & the remote buttons then don’t work, any tips would be helpful as I am a newbie!
Thanks Ifti for another great review. However, and correct me if I am wrong, as soon as the unit's battery level goes down to 20% or below the connected camera will crash. If this is the case the this would be a deal breaker for many people including myself.

I was posting my question everywhere and clearly nobody has an answer to my question, not even the self proclaimed 'GoPro experts'. They have no idea what I'm talking about. I was hoping you can give me the correct answer to my simple question? Now, let's just be honest about it ... we all know the GoPro media mod is a worthless add-on simply because those microphones are terrible. So, as a serious videographer, I need to use my own external microphone.
Can we use it with hero 8?
