Great job 251! I was really inspired by what all you employees are saying in this video. You make your points clear! Keep up your fight and stay united!!!
The UPS worker is the face of the company. We take abuse from the bosses but we don't take that with us when we see you. It's long hours and hard work but it's the best job I've ever had and that's the part that you get to see.
35 yr employee No one believed in 1997. Surprise! I was at UPS then and still here today. We sacrificed our lives and families for 2 years. We went to work as essential workers. I questioned my decision to go to work every day. What if I caught it and gave it to my family. I am sickened by corporate greed and forgetfulness of the loss of our employees. We are just a piece of machinery to management. CEO made $400,000 in 1990. CEO made 27.5 million last yr. $19 million this year. UPS doubled profits. BECAUSE WE WENT TO WORK during Covid. I slept in my cellar and stayed away from my wife and children. We had employees that died from Covid. We had constant outbreaks of Covid in our building. There was no hazard pay. I can not believe our sacrifices go unnoticed. We are not asking for an unrealistic package. We are asking for a recognition package. Recognize what we did and do. The majority of management seated at the bargaining table did receive historic gains in their stock and pay during Covid. We need a fair economic package.
Great point on the HUGE jump in pay of the CEO today. Compared to 1990. This is a reflection of most corporations's CEO's pay, wealth, today. Corporations executives and share holders take a large percentage of that profit. Also in that profit equation is the bonuses and kick backs from the stock buy back methodology their involved with. The despair is tremendous of what corporations pay their employees. It's important UPS be reminded of your two year experience during the Covid years. Your experience needs to be shared! As I'm certain every driver has a story on how they had to juggle their heath and safety along with their families for being forced to work as an essential worker. Thanks for sharing!
To bad. Everyone who worked in retail making minimum wage, 10 to 13 an hour, during Covid. No one cried about it except they were the real essential workers And why dont you complain how much the union makes? Using the number my union dues are which is lower than UPS. The teamster union is making 106,000,000 dollars a year. Thats pretty greedy for not doing anything
@JohnSmith-xu7ev Hi, Retail did work for most of Covid. There was a point all retail was closed. UPS is always hiring. You can make more money. It is hard work. Approximately 96% quit in 2 days. Where do you get your $ figures?
Practice picketing? How stupid can you get! Better go see if all those credit cards are paid off! Hope you aren't living pay check to pay check! The company loves the employees are poor easier to persuade! Back in the 97 picketing a few people crossed the line in less than two weeks! Its only got worse since then! Poor workers!
Stop with your nonsense comments. I made 130k last year because we're are strong and stick together. Most aren't living paycheck to paycheck and nobody crossed in 97. I was there. Only getting stronger. The only ones that have lost their jobs are management. You sound like management scab material. Practice picketing is to show we're serious, not because we don't know how to. How stupid can you be?
Y'all have to PRACTICE PICKETING ? 😆😆😆😆😆 IF you don't know how to go on STRIKE, maybe y'all should keep working, UPS might PRACTICE giving out PINK SLIPS, saying YOUR FIRED
Love when management makes a comment like this. Maybe you're just a shoe licker. They don't need to practice. Open your ears, they're just sending a message. Many of us were there in 97. Please try to send out pink slips. Harassment just gets us paid more
Excellent work brothers and sisters ❤❤❤

I didn't realize UPS was such a bad company to work for. They come to my business everyday and I couldn't be happier with their service.
They get paid great, getting up to 50 an hour without a college degree
