Everytime I watch topgear/grand tour it makes me feel like we're sitting in the livingroom watching tv again and that he's still here. It's kind of bizarre seeing Jeremy and james just chatting pleasantly to eachother earlier hahaha, not being antagonistic

My mate was actually part of the production team of Top Gear for a few years around this point and said it was the most fun job he ever did in his life.

THIS is why we love the trio, I mean the topgear/grand tour crew. The whole crew was great together their energy was why we loved them, thay all were like family.

At 5:37 Clarkson explains why all his introductions are rubbish (e.g. 'This week James wears a hat, Hammond wears a hat, and I wear a hat, etc., etc.) . Which kind of seeped into the Grand Tour's introductions as well. Jeremy is very consistent.
He's right about what he said. I'm actually a thousand times more curious about what's to come when he says "this week James says 'hello'" (and you see James who says 'hello') than about those Hollywood mega budget blockbuster trailers where they give 99.9% of the film away.

I would love to see a series of TH-cam videos of someone doing Clarkson style trailers for movies. Just taking the dulllest parts of the movie and editing them into it. Like to take the Harry Potter one.
For Philosophers Stone it could be like "In this movie Harry goes to a bank -show Harry and Hagrid stood at the counter of Gringots-, Hermione fixes some glasses - show Hermione fixing Harry's glasses on the train- and Ron Weasley says bloody hell - insert any of the many times Ron says bloody hell-."

This video is more entertaining than series 23-26 of new Top Gear. I know that a comment like this is becoming such a cliche but you can't script banter like those three have. I miss Top Gear so so so so much.

@@minetrucker Spoiler alert - he has... Andy Wilman was a presenter on 'old' Top Gear in the 1990's, same time as Clarkson, Needell, Quentin Willson, Steve Berry, Tony Mason - and James May. Clarkson left in '99 at the same time as Wilson, May left in 2000 and the programme was cancelled in 2001.
Wilman & Clarkson trhen hatched the 'new Top Gear' idea and took it to the BBC, getting commissioned in 2002 for a short trial run. Wilman as the man behind it all, and a co-creator of the Grand Tour too, is a very wealthy guy nowadays..
Top Gear has ALWAYS been my favourite show.

Ah the GTR... she is so old now, can still pack a punch though, so many years later.
It's still one of my all time favourite cars. Plus for such a fast high tech car they're pretty much budget. Can get one of the 2018 ones for £80,000 or one of the highly tuned NISMO versions for £150,000 which will easily do 200+mph. They're insane cars and i love them. Can get a used 2010 model for less than £30,000. I'd certainly have one of those over any modern coupe or any other car for that price.

No no no, common mistake. It's all new,(as in newly recorded) just the same crappy old jokes and stuff repeated and rehashed. Clarkson has a very limited selection of jokes and I believe it is his intellectual property (intellectual and Clarkson in the same sentence, can't be right?).
