it's really sad what happen to modjo, they were just two 20 years old kid, in music school in Paris. they did the song in 2 week just for fun and it became number one all around europe. they had to drop their school to do all the tour and interview. But they were not "producer" or "dj" and people at that time were expecting a live with sample, turntable etc, something like daft punk as they also fall into the french touch genre. Modjo was originaly from live jazz setting so they knew nothing about this world so their live with real instrument and real voice ( so a real french singing in english without any processing) really was not what people were expecting from them and it didn't work out.
