ELDEN RING enjoyer tries DARKS SOULS - DLC (Playthrough Part 13.)

What else can I say except that: This playthrough would not have been complete without the Dlc content.
To my disappointment Gwyn with all of the soul-bearers in present day did not pose a challenge close to the Dlc bosses of the past. Lore wise it definitely makes sense that Gwyn and the rest of the lot are decrepit husks of their former selves. But I personally missed that feeling of grandness and fulfilment after the end credits rolled and my journey supposedly came to a close.
Thankfully I did not locate the Dlc by myself before fighting Gwyn.
So In the end I did get a grand conclusion and finished my playthrough on a high note after all.
Though I wouldn't really say that Black Dragon Kalameet added anything positive to that note.
As you probably noticed this whole damn episode is just me trying to tame that dragon.
In total Kalameet required 47 actual attempts but that's only if I don't count the 9 in which I was trying to find a cheese tactic against him and didn't even try to attack. You might ask: Why resort to such petty tricks? Well as you can see further down, I have listed many glorious moments which you should check out because my words can't fully convey them.
Even though the boss had a cool aesthetic design I can't forgive how disgusting he was overall.
Even when I was winning versus him I felt like I wasn't. There was not a moment where I felt like I was not at his mercy when he let me get in a hit or a heal. It honestly felt like playing a lottery when facing him. And when I finally beat him It did not feel like I outplayed him or did better than in my previous attempts. I just felt that I got lucky that he didn't one-shot or chain cc me to death.
Once again do note that I played the Dlc part of Dark Souls in New game+ which means that everything had more health and dealt more damage than usual.
P.s. - I can't say that I am exactly looking forward to playing Dark Souls II considering how many people have pointed out that it is a mental warfare all the way through. But nevertheless see you then!
