I know some young men who would crap themselves if they were asked to do what Anna or Katie does two incredible young ladies who in my opinion are worth their weight in gold you are blessed to have them
Girl power
Unfortunately we are breeding generations of young people that would have no idea how to survive in the world if somebody couldn’t feed them and wipe their arse. I bit of cow muck never hurt anybody, people live in too sterile a world no wonder there are so many with problems. Yes those two girls have had a wonderful opportunity to learn some true life skills.
We got a used shipping container for a shed a few months back. Best thing ever! So much cheaper than something site built, and it's super sturdy and weather proof. We painted a sealant of the roof that makes it a lot cooler inside and put in some new flooring and we love it. Also, Anna rocks! Farm girls (and I'm one) know how to get the job done. That new room looks fantastic.

I have to be honest today is not a good day for me. Horrible day actually but this video brought some sunshine into my heart and as always I am grateful to this community and the journey that you share with us here Tom it was great to see the ginger guy up and aroundfor a moment and of course your mother stopping by is always a pleasure. It looked like regular lumber was used for the base of the milk tank room walls. Have the crew come back to install some sort of waterproof baseboard trim and silicone caulk that to the floor. Every time that room gets water on the floor, that water soaks into the bottom of the walls and you get rot and/or mold.

Think about a roof for the container before it rusts through. They don't last for ever. Speaking from experience.

NIce video Tom, everything is starting to come together nicely. I was thinking the other day about the one thing your farms does not have. A broken down rusting tractor in the corner of a field 🙂. I do a lot of hiking and every farm I have ever been through or past has a poor long neglected tractor, Odd thing is they are nearly always red! That Diachi is a godsend, I do hope when the "trial / Test" period is over they donate it or let you have it for a very special price.

Tom. If you are storing anything perishable in the container. Insulate the ceiling. I have one on England's farm and they condensate like mad inside. winter and summer.

hi Tom just watched this video great your getting tidy but I think a small fan to move the air in your new milk room via maybe a humistat to control moisture build up as it will get to the frame it would have been better steel studding to avoid rot in future ..

Hey tom get a flat vinyl piece cut to the size of the GEA plate and attach it behind it, OCD with the plate over 2 boards

I would of chopped the gutter down pipe a little higher and re coupled the joint cleared the top so the container could go flat against the side as it looks like space is a premium in that alley

Good video Tom just one thing I would like to tell you about your container,I use to have 2 of the large containers for storage I had a special coating put on the roof inside I had them for about 6 years with not one bit of condensation or mould which they are generally really bad with due to the temperature change so it might be worth looking at doing that before it’s becomes a problem have a good weekend 🇬🇧
Just make sure that container stays level, just for the doors. Even the smallest twist makes the doors very stiff

an idea, take a piece of plastic that has GEA green color and put it behind the text on the stainless sign so you can see the text better and the line disappears
