Great video 😊
What is he recovering from
Sending prayers for the Ginger Man! Do not stop whistling, it is who you are. If your a happy man you whistle.😊
You know you are accepted as part of the crew when they start taking the mick out of you Katie. 😊. Learn as much as you can from the Pemberton gang.
Love and good wishes to your Dad. ☹️❤️
Do not stop with the whistle! it is how we know things are class!
$$$ There is a dairy farmer in Massachusetts, USA that uses sawdust for bedding his cows. The sawdust soaks up a lot of the liquid slurry and the nutrients. He has a seperator like you do. He lets it dry out and cure then scoops it into a hopper attached to a machine that fills, weighs and bags the Organic Fertalizer. He sells it as fast as he can make it. Gardeners love it!
Glad to hear Gingerman in good spirits, he will be well soon. We miss him. God bless your family.
Get well soon to Dad.
Prayers to the ginger warrior and family. Thanks for the video.
Your poor dad and sitting in A&E for over 14 hours having already just had a spinal operation is disgusting and so disappointing. Your poor dads a working farmer, what choice does he have but to carry on. I prey 🙏🙏🙏 he will get the treatment he needs and will get better soon
The student girl is a keeper, she seems to have a great attitude.
On a different note I know you don’t need much more stress but roofs for the clamps, I presume there is still a grant. I think it will make a huge difference.
Tom hope your Dad is feeling better. Wishing him all the best. Don’t stop whistling. 👍🏻🇨🇦💪🏻
Even on the hospital bed a farmers brain keeps working 😅 much love to him and all the fam and a great job done 😎🤘
The colander analogy was a very good explanation for what the separator does and its importance for your farm set up. Prayers for Dad🙏
Good analogy, but by not keep up with a cleaning schedule you are making it work harder and reducing the life of the equipment, I know it’s hard to find time but even every three months would increase the life of the equipment. After all it was expensive, and by cleaning it it will last longer
Tom don’t ignore maintenance schedules on equipment like the separator, it is put in place for a reason and can come back to bite you on the bum when it does go wrong.
Another great video
Hope the old man is better soon
Scheduled maintenance is preventative maintenance……….ie prevents expenditure and time on repairs
This needs to be higher up.
I like Katie! I like seeing Katie! I like hearing Katie! More Katie please! She reminds me of my sister when we were growing up on our little farm milking cows. Fond memories. From this old man in Cumberland County, North Carolina, USA, God Bless! Earnest prayers!
Tom those solids from the separators you could bag up and sell it to gardeners/Allotments as soil improver extra £££ for the farm 👍 Get it in tonne bags 😀👍
Tom don’t stop whistling it’s what you do, if people don’t like it they can do one! Don’t change yourself. Best wishes to the Ginger Guy and hope he gets better soon. Your scrap man is a legend hats off to him 👍🏻👏🏻👏🏻🍻
To be fair to Katie, you have to start somewhere, and she's very unlikely to forget what she learns from you guys, can tell she will have a lot of fond stories to share.
I think you need some of those pregnancy check long gloves to do this job. I appreciate how you tackle every job on your dairy farm. Love your dad too. Hope he is doing well.
Hi Tom, its good to see the sun shining for once. Letting the muck separator go 12 months before servicing it, is not like you, but to be fare you have been a tad busy the last 12 months. It was easy to clean out and to put back together. I know you are only having some fun with Katie. She seems to be a quick learner and will be a big help while the Ginger guy is resting up. The two big jobs on a dairy farm, giving the cows feed and getting rid of the muck they produce. Here hoping the weather improves so you can get a few loads of the liquid 'gold' on the fields. Its good seeing more relaxed and having a laugh. Chris from Australia 🇦🇺.
I laughed so hard watching you trying to get the separator sieve back in the separator, It looked so rude, but so funny 😂😂😂
At today’s prices for fertilizer you’re doing the best there is to reuse what you got there. Waste not want not.!
Praying for your dad that all goes well. Back surgery is not a fun thing, but he’s strong, young man and has the will of steel 🙏
Hope your dad is doing well and recovering well that separator is pretty kool
The rain will help it compost and decompose. May dad and all your family and cows be well.
Another GREAT video. Looking to see more good things coming from Katie. It's going to be hard pressed to supplant Heidi as the farm favorite young girl but having Katie around does keep you boys on your toes. At the end I was thinking about some sort of conveyor to use a little bit more of your free power and use the conveyor to carry your dry matter to the far side of the clump; when it gets cleaned out first. Keep us up on the Ginger warrior and best wishes to your lovely bride and boy!!
Tom good video again, good health to ur Dad and look forward too seen him out as soon as he's healthy again.
HEY TOM...
Why don't you mix the solid muck with dirt, bag it, and sell it as potting/garden soil.
Katie is great! would be great to see her more! She can take it and give it which is great. Not a lot of people out there now who dont take it personally ;) MORE KATIE!
Sending your Dad many wishes for a quick recovery. We worry about him!!! Get well soon !!! I love that you washed the outside. Not perfect but better!!
You should compact the separated manure as soon as it is still dry, so it wont float away again when it rains.
I know you can't share all the wishes and reply. But My Home will send extra Prayers for The Ginger. Hope you and yours are doing Well. Tim S. Willdwoodfarm
Thanks for sharing your videos. Very interesting. Reminded me of a video I watched once where the farmer kiln dried the muck to sterilize it and then compressed it into starter pots for growing vegetables for transplant. He had such a thriving market for the pots that he had no dried muck in storage and was selling the pots as fast as he could make them. He said the sales of the pots paid for the entire system.
Interesting comment about the Rolls, does Jay Leno watch your channel. Not sure exactly where in California he lives but he certainly has a nice collection of cars.
Jay's garage is in Burbank just north of Los Angeles .
Hi Tom, why dont you invest in a conveyor belt system to move the muck from the seperator to the back of the clamp. You should be able to get a second hand conveyor. The conveyor would utalize your time and save on pushing up.
The trouble is that we have had something like 58” of rain since September, so that’s nearly 6ft of water landed in your slurry tower and, worse, on your solids, which not only fills the tower but makes the solids less solid, so you can’t stack it high because it slops out, having absorbed an amazing amount of water. The answer is, of course, to put a roof over the lot.
Prayers continue on the wind for your dad & his recovery. Don't stop whistling, that's just you being you.
I wish the dairy's here in the state's would do the same thing, instead of having muck piles in their feedlots all winter long, getting stinkier by the day or the ponds they generally don't aerate.
Keep doing the great work & great video's. 👍
You need a lockout kit for that switch “Safety just not take a day off”
Put some Jersey barriers in your median next year to hold it from sliding out. Then you should be able to stack it higher in sections.
Hope you're dad gets better soon, try cleaning the separator every 3 months, will make a massive difference
👀🙄🐾👍I hope Andrew has a speedy recovery
I saw a similar set up to this used to dry out Pineapple 'rinds' at a cannery in Queensland. The Juice, which there was a lot of went for human consumption, and the rinds were mixed for cattle feed. The only difference was that the rinds went through a pre-chopper. I still reckon at least 2 perhaps 3 times a year would be better. Mebbe Luke and Katy could have a go, but they might be a bit slow to volunteer. All the best for your Dad.
Can you split the cost of a jetter with Olly Blogs? Sending positivity to you and your pa.
Get better to the ginger warrior. Love the way you all work together. Clearly taking the mick works well look at Heidi!
Just a little story for Katie.
When my daughter was at Agri college they sent her on placement to an isolated sheep farm up Teesdale for two weeks lambing, a week in: lockdown, she was stuck there for 6 months, she loved it though.
Good luck in your career 👍
Whistle away! We are here see life and your day.
I hope your dad is doing better. And I hope the surgery that he needs goes well for him.
Slurry happens 😆! Beautiful sunny day, enjoy. Love and prayers 😇💜
Pray that your dad heals quickly.
Sending love to The Big Ginger. I hope he gets better really soon. We need him back on TH-cam!
Prayers for all! God bless your life’s journey!
Tomas, to check a grease gun you pull back the handle on the rear of the equipment, how far it pulls back is how full it is. How long have you sir been out of college?
Wishing your dad a speedy recovery.🙏❤
If it broke, it wouldn't be covered under warranty because recommended maintenance hasn't been done. Costly risk.
Sending your dad positive thoughts and prayers that he gets to feeling better soon.
Sending love to your dad for a swift recovery!
Thanks for the video Tom.
Hope Your Dad is feeling better soon.
✌️💚🖖
You’re a good son, good farming partner. That your dad doesn’t have to worrying about the farm because you are looking after it. I’m sure that takes a huge load off the ginger warrior so he can concentrate on getting better. It’s encouraging to hear he’s browsing the internet for grants while in hospital. When my farmer dad was in hospital, right after surgery he asked for his phone, reading glasses, and pen and paper. That’s how we knew he was on the mend lol ❤️🇨🇦👍
☘️Very good cleaning job tom, on the separator. Love the rapport you have with your staff 😊👍💯☘️
The separator was almost certainly a worthwhile investment looking at how full the tank is imagine how much more there would have been if you hadn’t separated all that solid wish your dad well from Devon
Best wishes to your dear father our thoughts and prayers are with him for a speedy recovery ❤❤🙏🙏
Praying for good results for the great Gingerman 😊 get well
Just catching up on your videos. I hope your dad is ok.

Great video as ever Tom, hope your dad is ok and I wish him a speedy recovery👍
Get well wishes to your dad!! ❤ Hope you can get into your fields soon with the muck 🐄 🇨🇦
Add a few more new roofs covered in Solar Panels, you could be solid Electric Producing Company.
Love a whistle . Love 2 Andy, get well soon ❤
Morning Tom I hope you're dad has a full recovery I love to bits ❤❤❤
Praying for your Dad to have a speedy recovery stay safe Tom.
Lots of love to the Ginger Guy with the 🐄🐄👜 Moos-Tashe 🫶🏽
Prayers for your dad.❤
Hope you dad gets better soon
Thanks for the video Tom!!
Great cleaning job.
Keep the song in your heart and whistle! Prayers for your dad
Prayers to your dad for a speedy recovery. Tom, you mentioned a 1926 RR, I own a 1924 Sedanca DeVille, Model 20 RR that a customer left to me in her will years ago.
Thanks Tom...Best wishes to dad.take care.
🙏🙏 for your Father! Gods speed to his recovery.
Don’t you stop whistling. I love it. It’s a sound of joy. My Daddy is a big whistler.
With the dry stuff, why not put it in bags or in a large box and put outside the farm shop free to take? It might be a little labour intensive but probably would reduce the amount you have.
I HOPE YOUR DAD GETS BETTER TOM ❤
You whistle all you want Tom!!
Lol, I wonder if the mystery guy from San Francisco who’s interested in the 1926 Rolls Royce isn’t the famous talk show host, retired, Jay Leno. He’s a massive car collector.
When y'all put that tower up for the slurry separator? I thought then installing a removable rail section (to move equipment into and off the platform) and putting a jib crane on that outside forward leg to allow you to raise and lower equipment and tools (yeah, a good tool box or just a bucket with a garden trowel and hand rake would work to clean out that separator out feed chute) could also come in handy to help support separator parts when your removing and installing them. I still think that should come standard with that set up so one person can do the job by themselves. Those separator parts look, ....well.... not light.
Prayers for the Ginger Warrior! I'm so sorry he's had a setback. 🙏❤️🙏
Separator done well on its yearly maintenance. Not sure but I think monthly means EVERY month not every March 😂
hahahah
Thank you Tom please send our love & prayers to dad 😊❤❤
Best wishes to your Da for a speedy recovery. Bag some of that dry matter up for the gardeners, it’ll sell megga fast!
Keep Whistling!
Great job Tom sorry for your dad ❤❤❤❤❤
I hope that your father continues on his path to healing and recovery!! 🥰
Wishing your dad a speedy recovery
Look into diversification with the muck, for compost for gardeners.. We're constantly looking for good compost. Hope your dad feels better really soon..
Sending prayers for Ginger 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
Good video, outside😊 working on equipment something other than in the barn🙂🤣😂
Best wishes to your dad❤ banter keeps the workplace happy😂😂
