Thank you for sharing these easy simple recipes I'm getting older I'm at 70 and I love Chinese food and this Simplicity of these recipes are going to be a great addition to my kitchen thank you for taking the time and making this video I will definitely save it and be making it as well God bless and keep well😊❤
Thank you for sharing. Everything you make is my favorite and look so tasty. My my is Chinese and she would make alot of Chinese food for dinner or lunch. My mom passed in 2019 and i wish i would of learned how to cook her Chinese recipes, i sure miss her Chinese cooking. Take care and may the good lord watch over you and your family. Have a beautiful week. Aloha from Hawaii
Every single one of these looks worth doing. My mouth was watering while watching. I usually cook an Asian dish every week, sometimes even more often. Bookmarked, Thanks
The gods must be looking out for me, because I bought more baby bok choy today from my favorite Chinese grocery, Warm Heart Grocery in Farmington, Michigan in the US. Your recipe for stir fry with vermicelli sounds perfect, and will probably be the first one I make. I really love that you make Chinese recipes so accessible to us, thank you!
If you are in the market for a wok, Mandy's Carbon Steel Wok is fabulous!! I've had it for a couple of years now and use it at least once a week. I highly recommended it!! It really IS non-stick, is light weight and cleans up beautifully. Just follow her easy directions on how to care for it that come included with the wok. Gosh, I sound like a commercial...😂😂 Mandy, I really like that wok lid. Will those be available for purchase separately? These recipes look amazing - I am a serious bok choy lover. I can't wait to try each and every one of them! Thank you.
@@iseeflowers I have not had any rust problems. I clean it as Mandy suggests. Sometimes I use a tiny bit of mild dish soap on the bottom of the wok, but haven't used it on the interior. I've used it enough that I rarely need to season it before putting it away. It's a great little wok. I used to have a hand hammered round bottom wok I got in Los Angeles at a store in Chinatown. That also was a great wok, but intended to be used with a flame ring on a gas stove. When my living conditions changed, I no longer had a gas range and it didn't work well on an electric coil so I swapped it with a friend for an electric wok. BAD swap! The reason I say all this is because I've experienced using a few woks and I can fully recommend Mandy's. I only wish it had a second handle but that is the only thing that would make it better in my opinion.
I can't wait to try the bok choy soup! It looks like a great base to experiment with ingredients, and I love how the texture and the fat cutting of the tender veggie hold out even after refrigeration. And it's perfectly sized to be easy to work with. Also, watching your expert knife work is very soothing! I know you edit those to keep up your pacing, I for one would like to see long form videos of you chopping things. Especially the diced bok choy for the soup! Thanks again for sharing all of these wonderful looking recipes with us!
Wow I just love all these dishes… I would definitely make the rice, glass noodles and the beef stir fry …. Chinese food was the first foreign food I tasted from my Lebanese cuisine and I was instantly obsessed and always wanted to learn how to cook from then especially Chinese food. ❤
These are amazing recipes! I’m starting my fall garden and want to grow bok choy, but wasn’t sure how I could cook it. This is perfect timing and yummy recipes. I’m definitely going to grow some now.
I love Bok Choy and so appreciate all these recipes for the variety. I love the simple recipes the best as some recipes can be time consuming and laborious. Most of all, it’s the sauces that are the secret to the best tasting dishes for sure. I always keep Chinese condiments in the fridge that take up half of my top shelf. For an Italian, that’s saying something! You always do a great job explaining your recipes.
I love bok choy so much I love all the recipes and xant wait to make them, but being a noodle fan i am especially looking forward to the vermicelli and pork recipe!! Thank you for sharing! You're a great teacher. I love your channel!
Thank you Mandy for your recipes. I have had your wok for more than two years and I love it. I followed your instructions and nothing ever sticks. Brilliant!
A wonderful video as always! I am so excited to try these recipes! I bought your wok last year and it is so good - you have taught me how to cook over the last year and every single one of your recipes is amazing!
Once again, wonderful recipes that are well explained, AND, … great product descriptions. Thanks for the photos!!!! I get lost at the local international market and the employees do not speak or read English., so showing them the picture greatly helps. You never disappoint. I have made many of your recipes. Still having trouble with stir frying the udon noodles. My favorite noodle, although now I will be trying the vermicelli
Hi Mandy, again you share another video that leaves me mouthwatering! Thanks for sharing! I love Bok Choy and your variations will definitely enrich my personal cookbook.
i am going to try the beef stir fry with chicken instead. they all look so good. I like bok choy. where I live now it is hard to find the sauces you use. Pork belly is available however.
I use bok choy but I usually end up throwing into a stir fry with lots of other veg. It was never the star of the show. I know I am really going to love these recipes!! I think it will be a tie between the beef dish and the noodles. And thank you for providing a link that gives me the option to buy your wok here in the UK!! It's my birthday this month, so I am going to treat myself ;-)
I have your wok with the wooden lid. Do you sell the new stainless steel lid separately? Bok choy and beef stir fry would be my first choice but they all look delicious.
Back when I was younger American Chinese restaurants used to cook with a variety of Chinese vegetables, including bok choy. These days, you get onions, broccoli, carrots, bell peppers… why?

Does it rust?

Did you get the one with the wood lid or the steel?
@@rinnypink I have the wooden lid.
I bought that wok and I am very impressed by the quality and the price. The lid is very nice.
I love bok choy. I'm going to try all of these! I can never find non-smoked cured pork belly, so I use pancetta instead.
I grow my own bok choy. I will for sure making these dishes.

I love this. Thank you, I will try the noodle, but will do it vegetarian
First tried Bock Choy a few years ago, LOOOVE it. Cook only for one, so I only get the baby bock choy. Cooking for one cost as much as three.

You are right it’s Americanized.
It's probably a cost thing.

Bacon can be cured or uncured and it can also be smoked
