As an english man and ex british soldier listening to this. I love the fact that every so often when David speaks he says the odd word with a perfect british working class accent. I'm working classs myself before anyone says something negative. Props to the guy and thankyou for your service..

Military ranks are almost similar in every country but he got confused. Non commissioned starts from private to 1st sgt there roles is overseeing the training and soldiers well being while commissioned starts from Cadate to the 5star general their roles plan . Advice,execute and command missions . These are the CEOs

Non- Commissioned Officers starts from Private to Warrant Officer 1
while Commissioned officers starts from Cadets to Generals and other countries ends in Field marshals

There's a big difference though, there's soldiers and officers....non commissioned are soldiers, commissioned are officers...non commissioned ranks start from private to chief Master sergeant of the Army while Commissioned ranks starts from officer cadet to General of the army(4 star general) or Field marshall (5 star general) who is nominated by other generals and appointed by the CinC in cases such as war

Seen this guy story several times...my take is that you should stay away from foreign militaries.they put you in the front line like this guy and end up dead or in suffering..i respect him but the foreign government agencies left him long time ago..he says he is an FBI agent,but that is what they told him to console...

An infantry is not an officer.. officer ranks start from lieutenant...to captain..etc...a non commissioned officer has to go through alot of classes n training to be a commissioned officer... This guy is a non commissioned his last rank is a staff sergeant..from there it's only commissioned officers..you have to get a degree ..
