I love Nikkie and the moment I saw her video announcing the palette I said “Oh, I hope Robert tries this palette!” I cannot be more happy with this video! And yes, I love the color story that is quite cohesive. I also love that she took her time to do this. It shows dedication and not wanting to release the first thing that came out of the lab and to just give people what they wanted. She worked for it! I mean, she took so long with the one she did with Beauty Bay, I would imagine she would be even more picky with the one the released under her brand. I hope to get this palette eventually! 💜
I've noticed many palette releases as of late are uber colorful; almost non-cohesive looking. I think it's a much-needed change from years of a sea of nude.
@@Kitti_B still--not a sea of nude, which is nice to see in a debut palette (from Nimya...not counting Nikkie w Beauty Bay) from such a popular person in the beauty space. I'm guessing she wants it to sell, so she has to make it palatable (get it?) to the general public, and the general public is accustomed to a sea of nude.
@@Mataylor17 The color story she chose reminds me of shades that were popular in makeup in the late 80s--when new makeup releases didn't come at such a fever pitch--I got my first non-drugstore eyeshadows in fall 1989 and when I saw this release I was reminded of them, and nostalgia is always fun. I'd love to see a palette that blows me away, but for now, I'm happy to see some color in a debut palette from a prominent influencer rather than a palette of all nude shades.
This isn't a palette that speaks to me personally, I'm kind of over warms + pop(s) of blue. That being said, it seems like excellent quality, and the look you created really shows its versatility. Hope you're having a lovely day, Robert! 🖤
The eyeshadow look is gorgeous but... Side note: this video was particularly lovely to watch!! You seemed so enthusiastic and it's so nice when we can watch you do your makeup with that... passion. Seeing you be so excited by a makeup product reawakens a giddiness for makeup in us. Especially since it is so hit and miss nowadays with brands pumping new (mediocre) releases constantly

Glad to see you review this and that it looks good quality. I just really find the colour story pretty meh except for that sparkly blue and the orange, which is annoying because I love the way Nikki has approached it all, especially keeping it to a decently affordable price, and the little insert book is something every pallet should start doing. Might end up buying it anyway 😂 x

It’s a beginner friendly pallets and will also probably interest more advance makeup user Due to it being good quality/they could use it as their new go to nude pallet. It’ll sell well to anyone no matter their experience.
When I first got into makeup...decades ago, they did have the little booklets in all the palettes. Everyone thought it was a waste of paper. I disagreed, and am very glad to see one with her launch, and also hope it becomes a trend.
I like the idea of the booklet showing the different looks that you can get from this palette. It's not for me personally, but it's great to see the looks that Robert can create....more blue 💙 Robert, 😊 more blue.
I do love that the palette follows the brands colors, idk its just a simple thing but it makes everything about the brand feel cohesive and thoughtful and that makes me more inclined to buy
Appreciate your honest review. As someone with a modest palette collection and personal makeup experience, I know this isn't for me. I have a nice range of neutrals and oranges, in formulas I love. Also don't often wear blue. It is a nicely curated colour story though and I wish Nikki all the best with her release 👌🏻
I ordered this palette right away. This is 100% Nikkies OWN palette so I know it has to be good. She didn't have the best collabs so far so this is the one palette I can trust to be good. All I wanted to know was: is the majority going to work for everyday looks? And it seems to be so. Can't wait to get my hands on this!

Gorgeous palette and gorgeous eye look, Robert! I love neutral and blue, with my job at a hospital I cannot wear all of the bright colors that everyone is releasing, but a few brighter or darker colors are nice as long as it isn’t the whole palette, that’s why this one speaks to me!

I've never been one for blue eyeshadow on myself but it looks devine on Robert! I WOULD like to try the Royal Family (deep blue) and Brrr Brrr wet down as an eyeliner. I want to get into that Disco Stick! 🥰🪩 Robert, I also have a chicken pox scar on my left upper cheek that has been there since I was 6 years old! It's always driven me crazy. My Nana gave me a great idea of how to disguise it. Sometimes I'll just create a fake beauty mark with a chocolate colored eyeliner. I'll usually do that when I'm wanting to do a sleepy eye double liner Marilyn Monroe look. My mark ends up being up higher on my cheek than her's was.
i love her beauty bay palette but this colour story is so in line with the branding of nimya!! i respect that she took her time before releasing this and she's building a whole brand from scratch rather than getting a few quick bucks. also robert and me have the same eye colour and this makes me want to wear more blue eye shadow the brown pops up so beautifully
It seems that everything Nikkie releases is really good quality and performs really well. The colour story is a little bland for me, but the quality makes up for that. I'd like to have this pallete just because it seems like it would be such a pleasure to apply, blend and play with these all these shadows I love that the pamphlet is actually useful with tutorials on how to get looks - very much in sync with her name, Nikkie Tutorials.
As much as I ADORE blue, I was hoping you would dip into that orange just a wee bit, as it would absolutely be a must for me if that shade looked good on you. This look is so stunning, and now I'm tempted to wipe off my look and play with some blues today because of this.💞😻
I hope they will come out with every day colours too! Because of my work I can't exactly go crazy with the orange and the blue. I'd buy that in a heartbeat if Niki came out with that! Seeing as the quality, thanks to you, is clearly there!

I don't wear make up all that often so I only ever have one eye shadow palette at a time and it MUST have a lot of neutrals and then a couple of fun colours along with a good mix of matte and shiny fun finishes.... this palette honestly looks amazing! Very nice usable colors for daily wear. good for nikkie for creating a palette that everyone actually loves. Good for her! 😊 side rant: I’m one of those people who can’t wear makeup on the corners of my eye, it makes my eyes tear up constantly. Any makeup that does get to the corners my eyes get really irritated and red. I end up looking like i smoked pot all day. (not that i do lol) By the end of the day my eyes are burning due to wearing makeup all day. It suck’s dealing with this but I love makeup…😜 ❤💄💋
I am okay with neutral with a pop of blue, people say it looks boring, I could get great use out of this palette. I kinda wished you used the orange is my jam as it makes my grey/hazel eyes pop.

I am okay with neutral with a pop of blue, people say it looks boring, I could get great use out of this palette. I kinda wished you used the orange is my jam as it makes my grey/hazel eyes pop.
