What a gorgeous bird. 🥰 Fun fact: the eagle noise we all love is actually a red tail hawk. As majestic as the Eagle can be they sound a lot like a seagull.
Fun related fact: When you hear a lion roar in the movies, it’s usually a tiger roar dubbed in. A lion roar is more of a low “Oof!” than a ferocious “RAWR!”. A tiger roar is so loud (and subsonic in frequency) that it can temporarily paralyze its prey. 😲

Bald Eagles have been my absolute favourite animal, I was obsessed.
In love with Spirit❤
We were here a few years back. Alaska is just incredible. Beautiful beyond words. ❤❤❤❤❤❤
This place is unforgettable. Definitely recommend it if you’re on an Alaskan cruise.
I second that! And the bear one was fun for me.
So beautiful. What an amazing bird!
Agreed, that's why they are the symbol of America?
I don't know who is more Beauty, the eagle or Sophia ❤
Mashallah❤ so lovely and cute bird❤❤❤
She's spectacular! Sophie, you're a blessed young woman to be working with these amazing raptors!
I love how similar birds are to dinosaurs❤️
@@mayganphynix8267NOT EVEN CLOSE !!!
@@John-pk3oh lol I said similar. Not exactly like them obviously.
@@John-pk3ohdid you know that birds are descended from dinosaurs? Im pretty sure that’s what she meant.
So very envious to have a job working with such beautiful birds. Spirit is magnificent.
*enviable
You never appreachiate the scale of eagles and raptors until u see them like this and realize its like toddler size
went there on an Alaskan cruise last week :) didn’t get to take the excursion to the raptor center this time though, Spirit is INCREDIBLE!!!
I like how Spirit's right wing was over Sophia's back like, "ill protect you even though im the one nervous" and seem a little offended when she flicked her wing away 😅
I noticed that as well. Very protective
It is amazing to me, how ridiculous people can get, placing words and thoughts with stunted imagination, into the the mouths of creatures like they were bloody cartoons.
How do you people come up with this stuff. It’s not a dog, it has no instinct to protect anything but itself

Bald Eagles are spectacularly beautiful and regal creatures. I feel honored that they serve as our national symbol.
They were seenas scavengers and in a similar light to vultures before they became the national bird.
@austin33785 you know your national symbol was about to be Turkey
@@darthkage2163
Have you ever tried to sneak up on a turkey?
The Bald Eagle is still a noble and special animal, despite what almost was. If that bird doesn't stir you on the inside, even a little bit, well....
I think they represent Americans well. Pradatory, scavengers.
Nice to see G was able to save Sophie from all those zombies.
Holy crap! Bald eagles are impressive!
I love how the eagle puts its wing around her. It made it feel safer. 💜.
I so love that they are our official mascot. I just wish we could live up to their beauty and majesty.
💯😭🇺🇸💙💯🤟
I wish, we as a people, could live up to their beauty, majesty and honor as well. Wouldn’t our country be so incredible?!!♥️🇺🇸🦅
Absolutely beautiful!! Gives me chills
Such a magnificent bird. Just stunning and beautiful. Wow. What an honor to work with these amazing birds for a living! That wingspan! I have an African Grey parrot that is 5 years old and about 410g; she seems like a tiny little peanut vs this massive and gorgeous Eagle, Spirit. ❤🦅❤
Aww the eagle wrapped its wing around her!
That is love thank you
@@fredjackson4498no??? No it’s not?? She literally just said it’s a bate, and it means the eagle is nervous. How the hell do you manage to anthropormorphize something that she JUST FRICKING EXPLAINED??? I can’t stand people 🤦🏼♀️
No it didn’t 😫😫😫 omfg, she just explained ittttttt 🤦🏼♀️ when the eagle spread its wings, which she explained is a bate, her shoulder was in the way and so it left the one wing out. It wasn’t wrapping its wing around her, it was being an eagle 🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️

Thats great, not just the bird skill but the presentation and people skills are so amazing
Omg I met her with my choir before you guys opened in April. She is so fierce
Both are stunning 😍
The way Spirit sheltered her with her wing. So protective of her human friend.🪽
yeah not so much
Just seen one of these eagles a few days ago, it was flying along side us as we were driving, it had a big nest up on a telephone pole and was headed towards it over by Linesville Pennsylvania and I live around Oil Creek state park and we have them here too, their beast in real life when you see a wild one up close, the look in their eyes alone 😶 gives ya chills, wild
She's SO BEAUTIFUL 💗🦅
What a gorgeous bird. 🥰
Fun fact: the eagle noise we all love is actually a red tail hawk.
i went here in 2011 and it changed my life. avians are such beautiful creatures
She’s beautiful 🦅 majestic! Hello from Guadalajara Jalisco Mexico 🇲🇽
When I was in Alaska we did a tour of this place and it was really cool being able to see the birds up close and doing some of their exercises
the little side hug with his wing over her shoulder 🥹 they're just pals
Both handler/caregiver and Eagle are beautiful.
Wow. She is so beautiful. Tears in my eyes.
❤️ So majestic 🤘🏻 really puts all the minutia(bs) in its place for a brief moment ✨️
Just the presence of that magnificent raptor takes full charge of your senses. She's beautiful 😍
So beautiful! We have quite a few in Florida. In the wildlife center near my home, there is a female named “ Searge”. I got to see her taking a bath one day. She was making cute little squeaks the whole time.
What a beautiful creature ! I'm guessing that the name "Sitka" comes from the animation movie "Brother bear". In the movie one of the characters is called Sitka he dies at one point and continues to watch over his two younger brothers in the shape of his spirit animal - bald eagle.
Could be but there's also a city in Alastair eith the name and a species of tree known as the sitka spruce.
