The “”accidental”” recording of her psychologically terrorizing that poor young boy for accidentally spilling candle wax was gut wrenching to hear. He’s literally sobbing in deep remorse for nothing more than a simple household accident, and instead of comforting him she’s requesting he take inventory of what can be sold to repair the “damages.” Thank god that monster is behind bars.

The story had previously been that she had stabbed him in the stomach that night and he was sobbing because he was begging her to get help for him. He was already seriously injured if you listen closely he says something along the lines of I'm just worried about my burns and she shushes him quickly as it doesn't fit with the proof of life video she's making imo. Poor baby was terrified and in pain and I don't normally wish ill on anybody but this woman deserves to rot in Hell but first I want her to live a long life forever afraid of the other inmates.
I couldn't believe how she was behaving in the police car either or on the news interviews. Complaining in the car that the officer was threatening her, (I doubt they were as they all kept their composure thankfully so that she couldn't twist it in court) and that people were disrespecting her etc when she already knew she had done far worse to a defenceless child. She's a vile coward! If she truly had issue with Al she was clearly to pathetic to take it up with him directly. RIP Gannon 🙏 he looks so much like a brunette version of my own dear grandson ❤ and she triggers all my mama bear instincts.

How the dad could think his wife is happy sitting at home with two school age kids of his own, I don't completely understand. It is clear she had some mental issues anyway, but it is also clear she was not happy at all, and exhausted of raising kids she did not love. Being a mom is not an easy task, being a step mom for two that provides sole care for them - I wouldn't be able to manage it, frankly. One post that sticks in my mind was written by a step-mom that resented her stepchildren so strongly that she confessed to wanting to unalive them. While most replies expressed concern and encouraged OP to get professional help, one reply was an admission to feeling the same way about their own stepkids.

No wonder Gannon was having accidents, you can hear in his voice how terrified he was of this vile creature. When a child is scared and is subjected to emotional abuse, and probably physical as well, that's how their body reacts. She never should've been left alone with that angel. She was expressing so much jealousy and hatred towards him and the role she felt she was having to play for him. I personally just wouldn't have risked allowing her to be alone with him at all. This one literally made me cry.

    • @rachelann9362
      @rachelann9362 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

Having accidents in a child that was previously potty trained and doing well is a major RED FLAG that there is a ton of stress that child is enduring. It doesn’t necessarily mean physical abuse, or emotional abuse, but it definitely points at a major stress in their life that didn’t exist before. Gannon suddenly having “accidents” likely meant he was feeling a lot of bad shit coming from his stepmom. The candle wax video.. you can hear a lot of terror in his voice. He was scared of her. For how long, who knows.. but it was clear he was scared of her.
Same thing happened with harmony Montgomery (sperm donor Adam was found guilty this past week.) she was five when she was sent to live with him. She never had issue with accidents until she was back with him, and then it turned into a daily struggle. staying clean was a point of PRIDE for her. Her foster mother said Harmony trained HERSELF because she wanted to be a big girl. Poor girl lasted onto months with her “dad” and step mom before she was killed.

It’s made pretty clear that she didn’t want to raise any more kids, especially not ones that weren’t her own. But she’s a narcissist who only cares about herself. You have every right to feel that way about your own kid, but trying to place any blame on the birth mother for this tragedy makes absolutely no sense to me. We don’t know specifics of the divorce, or why the dad was chosen over the mom. She may not have had any say in how the court ruled. Custody agreement can extremely serious and strict, and they already lived in different states. Or maybe she was a dead beat mom- I don’t think she was, But either way, it doesn’t matter. Leticia is the person who matters here, because she’s the one who committed the ultimate crime of taking an innocent child’s life, something that like 99.99% of people would never even think about doing. It’s so vile and despicable that it’s something no one ever *expects* it to happen, especially from another mother. *Leticia* is the villain here, not the birth mom. I don’t have kids yet, not by choice, and I couldn’t imagine not treating him like my own. He came to work with my briefly one morning and a lady asked if he was my son and he goes “nah she’s my stepmom.” That was the first time he’s called me that where it was usually “dads gf.” The way he said it made my heart melt and I almost teared up.

The clip of Leticia guilting Gannon for burning the carpet made me sick to my stomach by itself. What a vile excuse for a human being. I was made to feel guilty over existing in my childhood by my father. He'd talk about how they'd had more money if I didn't get gifts for my birthday (that didn't come out of his bank btw) or eat so many sweets (despite me being chronically ill/constantly losing weight and him often stealing my food). It left me so messed up as an adult. I hid food in my bedroom as a kid. Although I feel I have a healthy relationship with food, I still feel guilty when people talk about how much food costs (ie, my mother telling me the burger brand I eat is like £4-£6 a pack now). The financial trauma I have is unreal. I feel bad for the kid, obviously, but I also think I'm happy in a melancholy way that he didn't have to live the rest of his (presumably 50+ year) life dealing with the trauma she put onto him.

This case reminds me so much to another one that happened in Spain in 2018. An 8 years old boy was killed by his father's partner and she hid the body. The worst part is that during the investigation the Guardia Civil suspected her and asked the parents for their cooperation so for some days the father had to keep living with her and acting as if he wasn't aware of all the proofs against her, while the mother had to let her "help" in the searches and keep it cordial. The killer was one of the first persons in Spain to get the equivalent of life imprisonment. Later on, it was also discovered that she had a child in her country of origin that died at 5 years old when she fell from a balcony. It was considered an accident at the moment but now authorities in both countries believe otherwise.

This case is like looking through a mirror into an alternate dimension. I cant fathom how scared that poor boy was but I think my own past can get me pretty close. My own stepmonster despised me, and honestly if my birth mother lived in another state like in this case, I probably wouldve had the same fate. This case hits so so close to home. Rest in peace ❤

My stepmother threatened to kill me reglarly when I was a kid, and one day, she "accidentally" spilled an entire pot of boiling water on me, and then rubbed butter all over the open wound instead of taking me to the hospital. It wasnt an accident. We always served our own plates at supper, that night she decided to walk around our cramped table of 5 in a 7'x7' kitchenette serving peas directly from a pot of boiling water pulled directly from a maxed out stove burner. She literally walks over to me and says, "woops" before she proceeds to dump the entire pot directly on me. This is after several death threats where she says she will kill me in my sleep. My father was also an abusive monster, though. Nobody cared. People only pretend to care. Not a single adult ever did anything about my constant abuse even though everyone knew about it. I still have scars from where the boiling water melted my skin off. It has been about 25-30 years since then.

One thing I hated about this case is the way Letecia talks about how she "takes care" of the kids and that their original mother didn't do anything, she's narcissistic and it's very sickening to see. There's probably a special place in hell for selfish pricks like her.

And her petty jealousy came out so many times during this ordeal. She didn't just want to hurt Al. She wanted to twist the knife (so to speak.)
Not only did she play games with Al over several phone calls where she gave numerous different accounts of "what happened", but she called Landon right after the disappearance FROM GANNON'S PHONE. Can you imagine what was going through that mom's head? First, you think your son is ok since his # is calling you, and then having to be cordial with the person who hurt him?
      Pure evil....

I watch a lot of true crime shows, but this story is by far one of the most disturbing I have ever seen. Murdering a person is one thing, but murdering an innocent child like that is beyond comprehension. I had to fast forward through the recording of him sobbing. As a father of a young boy, it was too much for me. May you rest peacefully Gannon.

I don’t always relate your the stories you tell, but I was a young boy once that got abused too. My younger sister would wait for my dad to come home and tell him that I would call her some bad words or some shit.. my dad would slam some against the wall everytime and get in my face no questions asked.. and I never did it, and felt helpless. What is wrong with people? His voice recording reminded me of myself.

I still say to myself "I literally can not imagine her reasoning", the WHY that has no answer. I would not have imagined and still can't understand her perspective, despite trying, because it is alien. This is one of the saddest cases to me, poor Gannon didn't even have a chance, Leticia could have just called the mom to come get the kid if she couldn't handle raising him! Instead her first instinct is to kill him? She's so sick. The absolute most selfish, repulsive and shallow individual, she deserves all the bad things that happen to her in life.

It was an interstate arrangement, and as Mom was 1400 miles away, she couldn't just run over and come get him. Also, often in shared custody, there are set times each is to have the child. Wiithout an official agreement in writing, probably filed with the court, the child is in the other parent's custody.

I watched the entire trial and her interrogations, I was not aware that she was fired from her job at the school 3 days before she ended Gannon’s life!
I thought it was said that she texted her boss to tell her that she would not be coming to work on Monday? I think the lady said Tecia told her that her father had passed away in a road accident. Her father has been deceased for years by the way, so another lie she told.

Leticia actually texted the assistant principal at 4 am on the day of the crime to say she wouhdn't be coming in because her stepfather was killed after being hit by a car. If there is info that she had already been fired it seems to be the school covering their behinds. They sent us an email that said Leticia had only been hired and was still in orientation when this happened.
