Dear Mr. Rhodes ...I live in Texas and moved in with my elderly parents who live in Suburbia. I LOVE watching your videos and just wanted to say a BIG thank you!! i am learning sooooo much about homesteading and KNOW that is what i want to do. Unfortunately my parents are elderly in their late 80's and i have moved in with them - because of their age and my dads memory is failing. I LOVE GARDENING and always have but never considered homesteading until recently. SO until i have an opportunity to do so - i am here taking care of my folks in Suburbia. I am NOT a city girl but have always lived in suburbia ....and now i dont want to live in suburbia but would some day LOVE to have a plot - even if it's only an acre!!! in the meantime i am treating my parents back yard as a MINI - HOMESTEAD.....the hard thing is - it is under a covenant - so i am unable to have chickens (which i SO want). so i have to stay with veggies and herbs (which i grow and have grown for years and have alot of knowledge concerning herbs) i LOVE TO COOK! LOL....and use herbs in all my meals. so until i can get my acre - i am going to transform this small back yard into a self sufficient edible backyard! i Just want to say a BIG THANK YOU for all you and your family have done - you and many others like keeping it dutch - weed em and reep, Lumnah Acres, and roots and refuge, and Doug and Stacy living off grid (i watch these vloggers too) and the inspiration i receive from JUST watching ya'll is such a blessing! Continue the great videos and please continue educating us all. I truly appreciate you. Sorry - very lengthy commentary but i just wanted to say Thank you!!!! God Bless you and your Family!! Too bad that Forester Chain blade for the weedtrimmer does not fit on the Dewalt Battery trimmer (no attachments at all). Guess there is one good use for a gas powered trimmer
