1958 Mercedes-Benz 219 first start after over 12 years of storage and inactivity (2 of 2)

After connecting the carburetors inlet line to fresh gasoline fuel feeding them directly from a 4-liter container (bypassing the fuel tank's decades-old leaded gasoline fuel) and a new 12V 70Ah Varta AGM battery all that was needed was to spray some gasoline fuel on the carb inlets to get the 2.5 liter engine going.
