genuinely came across The Male Feminist a few weeks ago..saw Sanya Malhotra's episode at first and teared up hearing the story of her in the metro..and now Prajakta's story.. It just shakes you up listening to this all because honestly it's a fact you'd never come across a women who hasn't faced such a situation in life. I like how Siddharth carries in the whole conversation smoothly, nicely, comfortably and makes the person also come around with baatein.
Its extremely sad to hear that every woman has a story of catcalling, sexual harassment, groping, and whatnot. In Male Feminist we try to understand why man does such things and how do we stop them.

Yes true... Even I faced it and that too when I was a 13 year old teenager and someone just touched me inappropriately when I didn't even know the meaning of these things
The baba thing that prajakta told is so true. I remember I used to go to gurudwara to learn harmonium and there was this man whom we used to call babaji he took us few girls in separate room and started touching are legs and back. I told my mother and never went back... That time I was so small that I did not even understand that he was doing smthg wrong.... Also I love ur episodes omg I'm so glad I came across your channel🫶🏼

The first school is the family who teaches the girl child her self worth and how she should be treated...and what is not acceptable. When to speak up and stand up for the rights. But if the family is screwd up and dysfunctional and the atmosphere is unacceptable. Then it really impacts the child be it girl or a boy.

The bus thing she mentioned I hve faced similar thing.. But I slapped him and shouted in bus.. But as usual we are Indians.. All the uncles and aunties were telling me to shut my mouth... Tum ladki ho, issme tumhari badnami hai.. Leave now.. Don't make a scene.. It was shitty... I was in 1st year of graduation..

I think while being the feminist that you are and are indulging with feminism that way you are, it becomes counterproductive to say in the same breath that 'jhanda le k Nahi khade ho'. Statements like these demonise those women that are using their trauma to uplift other women and non-binary folks and trying to educate the society to practice and bring in feminist ways of life. Then when someone speaks out about it in a more passionate way because it impacts them that way, they will be looked down upon saying ye fir jhanda le k khadi ho gai and things will never change. Good that you acknowledge privilege but please avoid using statements that are counterproductive.
I also felt bulge that too of my own cousin that was very awkward and uncomfortable
