Saw them in Miami at Jazz in the Gardens a few years ago. They were awesome. Would love to see them again. I am happy about all of this attention they're getting the Star on the Walk of Fame, the movie and from younger people who really no nothing about super boy and girl groups. Also years ago when hey were a lot younger and not very famous they did these small promo visits. I remember that. Great interview!💙💛💗💜

I'm guesing they wanted to focus more on Ralph. It doesn't really make sense for them to make Ralph lip sync to Bobby's voice.
***** bobby was still around for mr telephone man. But by the time count me out was released, bobby was gone. Thats how i remember it.
I dont even think ralph lip syncing was deliberate. I think ralph was just singing to himself and it was caught on film and they ran with it during the editing, to prop ralph up even more. Thats my own theory at least.
***** exactly. Much to do about nothing. But just like rewatching movies or shows, the more you rewatch the more you begin to notice things that u never did in the past.
***** oh yea i saw that clip about 2 years ago. And then watched it again when it got reposted after prince's passing last year.
I know that the fellaz were big prince fans and vice versa. Biv has spoken on their interractions esp during the making of the heartbreak album while they were in Minnesota. I want to hear more about their interactions with both Prince and MJ. Stories like that never get old.

GREAT INTERVIEW!!! Saw the series three times too! but question....Did Ricky Bell get his nose done? There is a not so subtle change his his facial feature and he is a little more nasal when he talks... (Don't shoot me, i notice that kinda stuff)

andria bell Sorry Boo Cakes. It's not a lie. I love every single member of New Edition. It doesn't serve me to make anybody look bad. Go back. Listen to the song and you will hear it. It's two different pitches. They were pubescent boys. Maybe Ralph's voice was changing and he couldn't hit the note on the particular day the song was recorded.
If you find the live show they performed the Ralph & Ricky self wrote "leaving you again",in that same show something with wrong with the audio and only a few microphones worked so they shared, they also perform telephone man and when that part came ralph went over and put the mic to bob's mouth so he could sing it.
April Watts, I was so happy you asked that. I asked Ray Parker Jr the same question last year, and he said to "his memory", it was Ralph. He has to be remembering wrong. It's clearly Bobby.

the three members of the new edition who never was the lead singer always have something negative to say about ralph. We all know that Mike can't sing. Why no body ask them about ralph singing all the back up because we all can see that these three were all lip singing. These three were dancer and could not touch ralph when it came to dancing, especially mike and rickey. Rickey never say anything bad about ralph but he always go with the program. The new song with Johnny and the new edition is hot but Ronni and mike f it up.
You're completely bias towards Ralph as is almost everyone else, and I can tell you didn't know what he meant by singing backgrounds because if you did you would have left that out of your comment. When you have a group everyone sings background thats the purpose of writing FIVE part harmony and who tf said anything bad about ralph anyway?
