19:17 "I like this enough ..." take this statement as my decision will be buying it, as I believe the Brain Dance will be my up-grade for my Tanchjim 4U after hearing your description of the BD.
Great review Dave. Hopefully this one will get a good view count. I’d be very tempted by these but currently contemplating the Simgot Supermix 4 for £114 down from £142.
@TheHonestAudiophile pretty cool name when you consider that. Like music that gives you memories of a time you never lived in. I get that a lot. So super cool name.
Hi Dave! Thanks a lot for the review. How would you compare Dunu BD and oracle mk3 with Xenns Top, particularly in terms of soundstage and imaging capabilities? And which one would you choose out of these 3 at an overall level?
Hi Dave. I've been shelling out some serious bucks for several of the IEM's which you have reviewed. I'm curious to know if you have ever reviewed CAMPFIRE AUDIO products. The prices are through the roof but can they sound that much better? I appreciate all of you reviews and I want to thank you for helping me empty my banking account. LOL. Jay
@@TheHonestAudiophile Thank you. Do you have an opinion? Are they just way overpriced or are they leaps and bounds better? Better at all? They look cool but I'm a musician not a kid in high school who is trying to look cool. :0)
hey dave. just got my Tangzu Nezhas after seeing your review and i really enjoy them so thanks for the recommendation! however, I am thinking of getting the Hifiman Edition XS with the big price drop. i currently only use my computer and the Fosi Audio SK02 to drive my audio devices and i think i may need some more power, so may i ask which headphone amp you recommend for under $250? the brand new Fosi MC331 seems pretty cool, though i have no experience with tubes so far.
I wouldn’t. I own(ed) a pair of the XS that I’m contemplating throwing in the bin due to the right driver buzz. Unusable. Look it up. Loads of QC issues. Some people report having the same issue on multiple pairs. Unit variation of Hifiman is also a big issue.
@dylanclarke2787 Sorry I haven't heard the Edition XS but once at an audio show and I don't recall how they sound. I haven't heard about the MC331. The xDuoo XA-02 would be my recommendation for that price. Glad you enjoy the Tangzu Nezha they're fantastic, I love them. You're welcome for the recommendation.
Nice sounds like a good set! Would you consider getting in a pair of sumgot supermix 4 for review? I think they're superb. I'd like to hear your thoughts xx
Great review as always Dave. Would love a pair of them, Unfortunately out of my budget range. Have you tried the Sivga qué yet? Keep up the good work.👍🏼🙂
Yes I have, here's a link to my written review of the Sivga Que: www.thehonestaudiophile.com/post/sivga-que-magpie-looks-aren-t-everything-honest-audiophile-impressions
I haven't heard the Variations in a long time since I reviewed them so I am going off memory. The Variations have more bass impact especially in the mid bass. Variations are slightly more forward in the mids and the treble is rolled and not as extended. The Variations also sound bored where as the DK3001BD has more emotion and naturalism. Detail retrieval, resolution are similar. BUT I didn't do a direct comparison this is all off memory.

Awesomeness 😎 Look forward to hearing your impressions.

Thanks. Supermix 4 I should get one to review 🤔
The more I see these, the more I like the look of them. They seem to be one of the hot sets right now.
They are really well built and the look of them is so unique.
They're looks like a kid toy for the 500$
@uglyfate1326 totally disagree
Brain dance... it's from cyberpunk. Basically prerecorded VR in your head... reliving a memory as if you were the person in it.
Interesting 🤔

Yeah it is a good play on words.
Thank You Sir🙏 You Rock😎
Better to press pause than pop one IEM out.
Good review.
I press pause and pop one out.

19:10 vs ThieAudio Oracle mk3
I prefer the Oracle mk3 but the DK3001BD isn't far behind.

I've only heard them at audio shows.

Let's put it this way, I've not been tempted to purchase them. They're nothing special in my opinion.
@@TheHonestAudiophile I really appreciate your help. ROCK ON

Thanks for the recommendation of Simgot Supermix 4
Dave can you suggest an iem around 100 $ which has a grand soundstage and immersive listening experience
LetShuoer S08
Clavelon Delta
There are a lot of other options that doing staging well but aren't as wide and immersive
Hi, apologies for this noob question, is it worth it to buy this as a contrast for mega5est or is this more like a side grade? Thank you
Sorry, I haven't heard the Mega5est
If you could choose one iem in your life, do you decide to buy this iem?
I'd choose the Westone Mach 60 as my only IEM. But the DK3001BD is an amazing IEM.
Great review as always Dave.

Been lookingg for a video on these. Dunu seems to really give you a lot with them. How would you compare them to variations?

They look a little on the chunky side.
Not the smallest IEM for sure but I find them to be comfy.
