I bought them a few days ago Dave. I've only tried one tip other than the original so far. The Base one fourth from the left in the case and noticed how much better the Base was to the ones out of the box. I seam to like the switch not ON because the Base is still good. There's more Base when switch ON. Interestingly the Switch OFF the Base is good enough. I use the FiiO FA19 via KANN ULTRA and FiiO M17. I seam to keep using more the KANN ULTRA and the EQualizer works very well. Some songs work better with the Equalizer on because I've increased the Base while FiiO FA19 switch OFF and some songs in KANN ULTRA sound better if I turn Equalizer OFF. Every songs is different so trying all the tips and switching FiiO FA19 Switch ON and OFF will take time testing. The FiiO FA19 are my first IEMs and I'm very impressed. The first high end headphones I have are SONY MDR-Z7M2 which is a bit weak in the Base. The FiiO FA19 is the best sound I've ever heard and the Base is amazing. Next I'm thinking of FOCAL CLEAR MG PRO the latest version honeycome pattern. The Base and the Highs on the FiiO FA19 for me are perfect. Now I'm no expert on DAC/AMPs and High End Sound so what ever is better than what I have now I what to know. FOCAL CLEAR MG PRO next purchase and next IEMs FiiO FH19 or IO AUDI VOLARE. What do you think Dave FOCAL or FH19 or VOLARE next. I'm thinking the CLEAR next because then I have a High End Headphone. The SONY MDR-Z7M2 if your not into strong heavy or sharp Base then the SONY is brilliant.
I previously had Blon 03 , my very first IEM. I really loved it, beautiful bass, No Harsh pricky Treble.. Crunchy Mids. Beautifully tuned for its Soundstage... Im now looking for something similar or better.... below 35$
I have a HIFIMAN Arya Organic, and I had no idea that something could sound close or better. When I heard how FA19 sounded, I was shocked to the core. FA19 sounds amazing, gorgeous, gorgeous. High detail, deep and gorgeous bass. Oh my God, my ears have fallen in love with FA19.

This is especially true for the reproduction of medium frequencies, which is noticeable when playing stringed instruments such as guitar, guzheng and pipa. The sounds at the lower mid and high frequencies merge and are poorly separated, and the high frequencies do not sound as bright and airy as we would like. Overall, FiiO FA19 sounds amazing, but does not reach the level of HIFIMAN Arya Organic. In the latter, I hear a clear separation of sounds at all frequencies, and the sound transmission quality is simply incredible. HIFIMAN Arya Organic is a headset for critical listening.
If I were looking for something new and had the money they want for these, this would be on my list. But it's not to be for now. Nice review as always.

At the rate of progress we are seeing these last years I don't think I can justify spending hundreds extra for a preference tweak when parametric eq is everywhere and a technically superior model might be around the corner for half the price
Dunu SA6 mk2. I bought the Fiio FA19 because the graphics of these two IEMs are very similar. So I thought the FA19 would be an upgrade from the SA6 mk2. But for me, SA6 mk2 is on the same level as the FA19, costing much less (but I think the FA19 can deliver a little more details). Both are excellent, they are warm IEMs, strong bass with "calmer" and very detailed mids and highs.

I politely disagree, I've not heard any KZ products that has the detail retrieval, resolution, tone and timbre that the Fiio FA19 has.
