Seinfeld got me through some hard times, Breaking up with my girlfriend, Depression, Thank god for Seinfeld, Laughter is the best medicine, The characters in Seinfeld become like friends to me at the lowest times of my life, George, Kramer and frank were hilarious Jerry not so funny and Elaine although attractive reminded me of my sister who I hate so it was George, Kramer and frank costanza who helped me through the hard times, Thank you Larry you are a genius and deserve every penny you have.👍🏽

If there's one scene in Seinfeld that proved Jerry and Elaine were actually perfect for each other it's the one at the Rent-a-car office. Two people with the same sense of humour, totally in synch with one another. And it's beautifully performed too.
One of the funniest moments of Seinfeld is right in the first clip of this Power Hour, when George is caught eating the trash can Eclair he doesn't throw it back in the garbage, he puts it down carefully on the counter-top, as if he plans to continue eating it!
Jerry did break just a tad. You can see when he points his face down with that smile, he almost lost it, but kept it together. How many takes would it take, to not, have to make a take, if two funny people weren't breaking a take?
Well, back then is was still political, sure. But it was more in the realm of public health and between doctor and patient. Back when people still trusted science. So, it wasn't as hot button or knee jerk as today because people actually had discussions, not just monologues about how angry they are because someone read it on social media and through confirmation bias were told how angry they should be and at what.
Jerry being interrogated by Bookman... Possibly the greatest scene in all of 'Seinfeld.' Just ask the kids in the New York Public Library, able to read a copy of 'The cat in the hat' without seeing pictures of pee pees and wee wees.
I can't watch that scene at the festivus dinner without remembering the blooper real and Julia cracking up like 12 times in a row every time that guy calls her a fox lol.

How can a sitcom be so good and consistently funny? btw- coming off covid and my symptoms have subsided, except for this cough that appears every time I lol at these nuggets of humor!
