I first started watching you channel whe nyou were uploading your warlords of erehwon videos. Good to see these models finally getting into an army to be played with.
R.I.P wilko 😂 being new to the hobbie I can’t imagine stripping a model after I’ve painted it! Definitely makes sense to use bases you can use in other games.
They're all such nice minis. Definitely think it's the right decision to keep them on 25mm bases as that works for Oathmark and it should be easy enough to get a movement tray for the Bestigors that gives them the right footprint for the Old World.
Already orderd a few trays from here to cover the bestigores and Centigor... blotz.co.uk/product-category/wargames-terrain/accessories/game-specific-accessories/warhammer-the-old-world/
There's something satisfying about pulling models out of the stripper and having the paint just peel off nice and smooth. I've only done stripping a couple times in my hobby journey thus far. It was with cheap grocery store Isopropal Alcohol (the 70% stuff, not the 90%+ stuff that would _really_ do the job). Sometimes it would work well enough. Sometimes the paint stubbornly refused to budge, even after days of soaking.
Lovely work! Watching this while assembling my new bretonnians. I ADORE the old ungor metal minis. I'll try to snipe some on ebay if we dont get them for TOW.
@ScruffyCrow yeah, man. How long have you had this collection? I wanted to start beastmen using all the metal models, but the price is too much for me with eBay prices.
A bit late now for those beast men, but have you tried using inks to tint a flesh paint scheme? Im doing that now for an orc army to give it some variety and its worked really well.
Everything in the old world is 25mm now which is nice.. not sure how my goblins are going to look but at least they will transfer to oathmark easily
Looking forward to see more videos!!!🎉
This is such a coincidence! I also just started an oldhammer like Beastmen army. I will follow your blog, thanks!

I have 99% Iso I use for cleaning prints, it's great for stripping plastics but no where near as effective as the Acetone free stuff.
Great timing, I was in the middle of rebasing my beastmen when this popped into my feed!
I'm very excited to see the army develop

I'll probably be competing for them, i could do with a handful more.
Dude your beatsmen collection is amazing. So jealous.
Thanks, I'm really pleased with it, so glad I picked them up when they were still affordable unlike now.

What the hell is oathmark
A lovely rank and file wargame.
Give it a search. This channel has quite a few videos on it.
Oathmark is a solid rank/flank game with a solid campaign mode. Great for large collections or starting out. Easy to play, basic book is cheap.
