I played a lot of the old songs like this when i was on the radio in western north carolina. I played these very ones . They were on a c.d.
I played them also on the old 45's and albums.
It was great to see some of the old timers when they were young, especially Jim Hamill with the Rebels, Ed Hill with the Prophets, and Naomi Sego.
I didn't recognize Ed Hill with the Prophets. Thanks for pointing that out.

It's hard to imagine Rusty Goodman as the bass. He has such a range.
Rusty was so versatile. He was usually singing the bass part with the Happy Goodmans when he was not the featured singer
Glenn Allred of the Florida Boys is my favorite baritone singer.
One of the best, for sure!
And billy Todd had a great bass voice.

Is that a young Donny Seabolt singing 2nd tenor? Wow I’m used to seeing him in Blue Ridge Quartet!
This is what I grew up with. It's a long way from "Elvira".
Praise the Lord for that!

Young Jim Hamill just feels wrong. He's forever in his 50s and 60s to me.
LOL! Yes, hard to see him in his pre-Kingsmen days.
