I crocheted soap sacks for my boxes this year, and included a bar of soap, of course. They replace a washcloth, and hold the soap in themselves. I think a friendship bracelet is a great idea, as well as so many of your others!
Romy Arisawa thanks!! I do know what you mean. I only dabble in areas I have tested my skill set before! I once made a headband.... it's still sitting on my craft table; it was awful! Hahaha
I have seen boxes of pure junk before. One lady didn't spend a dollar (even on supplies). I can't imagine how it would feel getting that when other kids get barbies.
I thankfully have a massive stash of fabric, supplies, zippers, and string acquired over many years, and if I don't have it, my Grandma usually does as she receives fabric donations for the dresses and quilts she makes for an orphanage. So my supplies (other than paper and ink) are free too! Feel free to check out my other videos of completed shoeboxes! I am on a tight budget and hopefully give children wonderful boxes even with my limited funds!
Lisa B our dollar store sells them in the craft section. Close to wear you find the beads and scrapbooking supplies. DollarTree I think I shopped at that time.
