Scored a sick 1965 to 1978 baseball card collection 2 mos ago and just a week later scored a nice 1971 to 1990 collection. I won't sell the better ones as I needed them for the pc. The 2 lots are probably worth well over $3,000+. It's amazing what's still out there if you look hard enough.

Simpson rookie cards A TON OF FUTURE HALL of FAME players an almost complete set of 1969 baseball BUT the kicker card(s) were in the bottom I found a 1927 E series confectionary card of Babe Ruth. 1927 was the year he hit the 60 home runs. its in pretty poor shape has a monster crease but its a Ruth card.

I did the dumbest DUMBEST THING. In 2015 my brother gave me 50k 1984 to 2014 baseball cards he got in a cleanout. As I was only collecting pre 1987 cards I eventually tossed em out. I told my brother imagine if the were 1993 to 1994 Magic cards. When I decided to add modern to my collecting in 2018 I regretted tossing the cards. Many many 2011 Trouts were in it including a red Target and a /5 Trout auto probably worth $15k to 25k. Stupid me.

Best cards ever is a bit much. But if you really paid $90 and you can put some time into it you could triple your money. Or if you really want to get nuts you can go the grading route. Some of those $1 rookie cards can be $30 rookie cards if you put $10 into them. It's time consuming but if you know someone that can help you it could pay off.

@@juicetone9024 It appears that your don't know much about card value in general. I've been a card seller for over 20 years with my own card shop. I have 2 ebay anchor stores, each having 8,000 listings. Cards from the 1980s and 1990s were overprinted and there is too much of that stuff. You can buy cards from these years at $1 for 1000 cards. There is a little bit of value in the last box. Most card shops would've turned this collection down and not even made an offer. If they did make an offer, it would've been no higher than $30. The people running the garage sale more than likely already tried to sell the collection to a card shop and was turned down. I've seen a lot of collections come thru my store that are similar to this one.

I've looked at hundreds of cards now from the early 80's to the present and couldn't find a card with worse than 55/45 centering in either direction on the front. This is in spite of the fact that PSA says in their grading description on their web site that the front centering standard is, "not to exceed approximately 55/45 to 60/40 percent on the front.

For us Canadians, a BCW storage box ordered from Amazon Canada that has 5 rows like the one shown in your video, is around $28 before tax. Of course, I'm luckily to have three card shops in my city (6 within an hour's drive), so I'd never pay that much for a storage box. But I guess Canadians stuck in small towns with no card shops around would have to pay that if they ordered from Amazon Canada. I enjoyed your video my friend.

I don't know about value but there are definitely some pretty cool cards in there. I would have loved to add some of them to my collection. Whoever had that set obviously put a lot of time and passion into it. I have been doing a lot of pack opening and card scavenging videos lately and haven't found a set quite as cool as that one.

Should get your money back on these cards alone ... 35:35 to 37:53. And if the basketball are authentic, there's some more decent cash. As for the rest, sell them off in lots of 1-200 cards for 5-8 dollars each. Pretty good deal.

Yeah if you didn’t have the 3rd box you’d be done for. Never go for baseball cards unless they’re brand new or have at lease a 60s date or older it’s like a law in with it, and if you don’t know your sports just stay away from anything that isn’t a rookie card of a player you can say a 10yr old and an 80yr old both know then you’re safe (aka supestar who doesn’t know Kobe Bryant) football/basketball have a couple of saving graces in the 70-90s era so you can get lucky there... I’ve owned the Kareem if it’s mom get it graded and it’s worth a fair chunk at least more than what you paid

Yo bro it looks like the card's that you picked up at the yard sale for $90.00 wasn't bad. However, the best cards are your Kareem and other basketball card. Your Clemens, Jeter, Griffey Jr cards will bring you a profit, if you sell to someone who collects them. The reprint and all-star cards are cards you should give away to children's shelters or children's hospitals, because the kids would love reading about their in sports heroes from today and yesterday
I'm an avid sports card and memorabilia collector. I've invested in these and fun cards, because I have 2 sons and on 4 grandsons who know what I collect.for this reason, I always have something to talk about with them. I've been able to talk about Naruto, pokemon, wrestling baseball, basketball, football, jockey, soccer and more. One of my son's is a teacher in Texas and my oldest grandson is in the army in North Carolina. We talked about the Lakers winning their in last NBA to championship. By so doing I was able to search for all of the player's who played on n that championship team. On we really had fun going over who the players were and how they showed the tv audience what a beast really was. Hello!

Not a big score on cards for 90 bucks. Not horrendous though. Probably got book value maybe x2. Not great for instant resale or anything. Those Jabbar and Irving cards were the best and obvious score in this pull. Glad to know you found those, but I watched the entire video. There WAS that Barry Bonds card you showed. Worth a few bucks, but the rest of what you have / had - was obviously some collector's "residue." Not worth very much at all. Glad you made a few bucks on your investment, because everything I saw you showing are not expensive cards at all, friend. Most were those .99 - 10 dollar cards you find from places like Burbank cards. A lot of early 90's cards with the 2nd and 3rd string players. That told every viewer - you bought mostly junk status cards, stored in nice plastic binders and two monster boxes. The critical sign that further explained this, was the way the collector removed his high value and other they key players from the acrylic cases but kept the cases. "Plus, you walked right by your "Roger Maris." Any decent collector would have instantly spotted that card my friend.
That told me - you really don't know what you're doing best as a sports card collector, only that you are smart about finding cards themselves. I respect what you're doing, but at the time of this video. you're the kinda a guy the serious collectors can hustle - because they can tell, you know just enough to give away all your dough until you learn the industry. Not trying in any way to be unkind, but learn the industry before you go out running around - hoping to get lucky. Most of that pull will likely never sell on places such as eBay. I didn't see any quantity of 8 - Gem 10 graded cards, *the Singles certainly were not auto, specials, relics, numbered, not the key players or very many hall of famers. You would have done well, had you offered $25 - maybe $50 bucks - all in.
Happily, glad you managed to sell them en mass. Otherwise, they would have sat in "your garage for a very very long time." All the best.

Kannell for Pets I appreciate the input and most certainly would not consider myself a collector by any means. This was indeed a shot I the dark but in the resell business sometimes you have to miss to learn what’s good or bad. I’ve done this for a few years and have made deals that I’ve only broken even on. I won’t ever invest money I’m not willing to count as a loss. At the time there was no way to go through each card to make an offer. This was an estate sale and there were a few buyers there scooping boxes up unseen and making offers. I took a chance and it paid off.
