- Genshin Impact, but it's a Hardcore Nuzlocke challenge... What could go wrong?
Today we begin the Geo Archon questline, and attempt to rescue Xiangling from the 3rd floor of Spiral Abyss.
We did a nuzlocke challenge before, but this one is a bit different.
Our goal is simple: Clear Floor 8 of the Spiral Abyss (ideally with 3 stars in each chamber).
As for the rules?
Only using 3-star weapons or lower
Only using starting characters (Lumine, Amber, Lisa, Kaeya, Noelle, Xiangling, & Barbara)
If a character dies at any point, we cannot use them ever again
Food is BANNED
No teleporting out of combat. If we need to run away, we can. But we cannot use teleporters to escape, and we cannot leave domains without clearing them.
Only pulling on Weapon Banner
Any characters or constellations obtained from the Weapon Banner are NOT to be used.

Btw Java you can plant valberry’s as well as chilies in the teapot so when you get it it’ll become a lot easier
You can only grab seeds after one of Inazuma's reputation ranks
Also the chilis can be bought from Wanmin restaurant
You can still buy seeds from the realm shop before you reach Inazuma, the issue is you're working with 5 seed packets per week, but that's still 15 valberrys or chilies per half a week which is definitely worth setting up for less tedium.
@@cman5516 You can buy them but not plant them (is the correct verb "plant"? I dont speak english, sorry)
@@FloreMar-yp3iz You can buy the farms with realm currency, clearing the inazuma quest is only needed for the see dispensary not the farm plots. (also yes, "plant" is the correct verb for that sentence.)
Also some tips:
Once you’re done with the Liyue Archon quest, get the Teapot so you can grow valberries in there for Noelle and Lisa.
and memorize Childe’s attack patterns. Then you know when to run and when to attack.
maybe practice childe on a different account!

I was gonna say that he can't grow the valberries (because the seed dispensary unlocks in inazuma), but I forgot that you can buy seeds from the teapot shop. Inefficient, but it works.

I will not bother memorizing that… my keqing is good enough to kill him fast enough that I don’t need to worry abt dieing
Fun fact: Zhongli's hold E instantly destroys all three of Geo Hypostasis' last pillars if you position youself well!
It doesn't lmao it just takes 80% of its durability and you need to manually attack them (or just use Zhongli Q)
@@emptyallen3334 Actually, it does and it's the opposite - his hold E destroys the pillars, while his Q only takes down 80% of the pillar health.
My Zhongli is useless

For me it always destroys two, and the third one is kinda close tp being destroyed - but I haven't fought it in a while

i believe that white tassels are in the chests in certain areas(on the southern-western part of liyue, i guess, the chasm is included). try searching in the same area where you found the first one
They're random to spawn in any Liyue chest.

they really need to add it, because the dialogue just keeps getting longer and longer plus it's a pain to make a second account and going through all of the hours of dialogue
either that or for archons sake someone tell the writing team that long dialogue ≠ engaging story

I am not saying that they are planning to but it could be a possibility considering that there will be more and more players who would want to speedrun quests especially side quests just to get to the newest quest.

You need to place their E (hold) between two of geo cube pillars and meteorite on the other one
I prefarmed a lot for Zhongli a year ago and after getting him never again did him :')

With the book and about ascending an anemo character other than traveler, I think it's probably fine to do with a miscellaneous character of that element if you have it but just never use them

ya know, if only Genshin could make the traveller able to switch elements at will and link all talent levels together so we don't have to grind for each and every single one of them
Java, another one of the weapons from liyue chests that will be important is the twin nephrite (catalyst). it's a crit rate weapon that gives you more attack and attack speed after kills.
Btw, i just realized that if you bring your accounts into the same world and just do commissions and all the accounts will get the primos, but only 4 commission will count daily like usual

if you accidentally get another anemo character from the weapon banner you could just ascend them for the free fates + artifact and not use them

you should use the four star weapons to upgrade your other weapons
I still vote to allow 4* Billet Weapons using the Billets the game just gives you straight out as well as the Prototype Rancour it just gives you straight out, so I would call it completely fair to make Xiangling a Prototype Starglitter or Crescent Pike if you're feeling really classic.
Indeed, Remembrance I is outright not capable of dropping Viridescent Venerer. You'll need to wait until you unlock at least II for that. Considering your conduct, Tiny Miracle might not be the worst idea, though.
Just please make sure to remember that when the game tells you to go find a cat, **DO NOT GLIDE TO ANY OF YOUR DESTINATIONS.** One of them is to a Lawachurl that the game forces you to look at, locking your controls in the process, so if you're gliding to it and stop gliding when you get close you will lose that character. Also if the Liyue boss marks you with an element, mash your face against the outside wall to clear it so that you don't get deleted.

Flowers are quite useless for characters that doesn't scale with HP. Therefore having a 4 star flower is actually extremely viable until you find a better 5 star version. the only disadvantage is less crit rolls.

i think you should be allowed to use 4* wearpons if theyre not from gacha, like prototype rancour, kazoohas sword and event wearpons, since its not connected to luck in gacha

White tassel (the spear I assume you are looking for) is much easier to get in Chasm.

You should use the craftable 4* weapons since their technically free
Crazy idea,maybe you should allow constellations since it’s so rare to get the exact character(s) and you are on the weapon banner so you guessed it, an Even lower chance of getting Lisa,Kaeya,and Amber’s cons ay? Don’t boo me 😒 also I think after 4/7 of them die, you should do floor 4(?)of spiral abyss with them,if you win they revive,if you die,you die and if you time-out you get a new character since you are gonna want 8/7 so the characters from the weapon banner are just added on (unless it’s Bennett or Diluc 😐)
Edit 1: Cons are suggested to be added after 2+ deaths but you can do whatever if you read this :)

For the Geo cube, if you have Zhongli and hold his E, it instantly breaks 2 pillars and does a little under 1/2 dmg to the 3rd pillar. Easy.

hi java, i dont remember if blacksmith weapons are allowed but if they are, the inazuma craftable kitain spear is a great option for xiangling

Sorry if I'm wrong but can you use the characters from events as from some events you can get characters after earning the event points and obtaining the character , such as lanturn rite to get a character
