    Standard questions by Port Control and VTS:

    🔹What is your flag state?
    🔹What is your position, course and speed?
    🔹What is your ETA at Pilot Station in local time?
    🔹How many crewmembers on board?
    🔹Current security level
    🔹Last port of call
    🔹Next port of call
    🔹Present maximum draft
    🔹Draft aft and forward
    🔹Freeboard
    🔹Air draft
    🔹What is your full manoeuvring speed?
    🔹Cargo onboard
    🔹Do you carry any dangerous goods?
    🔵Nowadays we rarely use message markers (there’re 8 words) in radio communication. But when you IMO Standard Marine Communication Phrases cannot give the meaning desired, one of the following eight message markers may be used to increase the probability that your message will be properly understood:
    🔹Instruction, Advice, Warning, Information, Question, Answer, Request, Intention.
