As a psych grad, what I really like about this movie is the memory manipulation part. Every time we bring up past memories, they are reconsolidated with new ones and it's so easy to weave new & even false info with that memory, leading to an altered memory that still feels original. That's why eye witness testimonies can be so unreliable, especially when suggestability is high and people are forced to adhere to a narrative. In worst cases, people have confessed to crimes they didn't even commit!
