    You do such good work, no matter what machine you're in. That you took an unfamiliar & smaller excavator and got such nice results while looking effortless is a testament to your talents. Glad you had a nice conversation with Charlie while entertaining us with the trees coming down. Thank you, Chris for sharing with us all. Thanks for being such a bright spot in my video watching.

    LetsDig18 slow-mo excavating trees and brush - good to see the patience - oh and talking with Charlie at the same time - multi=tasking. My son investigated land stabilisation for the roads surfaces used for mining in Western Australia - sure makes a difference. Agricultural improvement and machinery access on this property is commendable. Great to hear you are on the improve health wise LetsDig18.

    This is good showcase of why that Deere was a good buy for this farm. Its big enough to get these jobs done even if it takes a little more time and likely isnt in use so much that a bigger machine would have been better.

    Always a joy to watch Chris clearing a pad area then getting it ready for the motorgrader to level and groom building ready.
    Plus brining the road up to where the future door will by.
    A short but enjoyable episode for sure.

    Enjoyed watching this video Chris! Having equipment available to you that has less power than you are used to can still get the job done, although more frustrating and time consuming, it can still get the job done. Enjoyed the video and recalling how you would handle the task with the proper equipment for efficiency!

    State of California could take a lesson from Letsdig 18 on how to thin out overgrowth in their forests. Your sounding better now. Just using the rake on the excavator could clear out dry dead stuff lowering fire hazard in a dry climate.

    • @kenore4003
      @kenore4003 5 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา

      A great deal of the destruction was on urban areas. Making urban areas fire resistant involves all the things that people don't want to do. Building with more separation, moving greenery further away from the structure and covering the ground with rock, closing up vents with parts that prevent burning embers into the attic and a bunch more things. Look at homes that survived the fires all incorporated these safeguards.

    • @JD-zm4eh
      @JD-zm4eh 2 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา +1

      @@kenore4003 Regardless, Californias overall policy;s are beyond ridiculous and not helping with the overgrowth will only lead to further destruction of peoples property. In an arid region such as the southwest proper wide firebreaks will slow and even stop fires. I grew up in a home in San Bernardino and had fire at our backdoor and cleared brush is what saved our neighborhood. When the fire runs out of fuel the firefighters just have the embers to deal with. Retrofitting homes now would be super expensive and most people don't have that kind of cash available..
