Swiss Cheese is just too strong of a taste for some people to enjoy. American Cheese is relatively neutral and still gives the cheesy texture, hence why it’s a better choice for sandwich templates.

I made almost this exact burger last weekend! (I thought it was called a Sunrise Burger lol). I used brioche sliders, grass-fed beef cooked in Amish roll butter, thick cut bacon, Sunnyside up egg, Jarlsberg Swiss cheese, fresh-ground Himalayan pink salt and peppercorn medley, and Sriracha mayo. I had a little avacado on the side as a palate cleanser lol. It was nice. 🍔

I'm a new subscriber and I am truly amazed with your cooking, editing style, and poise! I've been binge (haha) watching sooo many of your videos the last week. My dream since I was 8 years old has been to go to Italy. I wish I'd been subscribed to you at this time, but I am so happy for whoever got the chance to share this experience with you! July 2020 I was finally booked to go to Italy to volunteer with children, but because of Covid, the trip was cancelled. I made a more scaled down version of this once: I replaced the 18oz hamburger patty with more like a 4oz breakfast sausage patty, swapped out the bun for an English muffin, and didn't dip it in butter, but I buttered the English muffins generously which when they melted together with the egg yolk made the tastiest sauce ever.
Which isn't surprising since egg yolks and butter is BASICALLY hollandaise.
I was just really baked one night and realized I had ham, eggs, sausage, and bacon all in the fridge.
I am from Wisconsin and we would say, "Only one slice of cheese?"
