I put my 8th grader and my 10th grader into Denison Math this year, and they both LOVE it! They are doing very well in Pre-Algebra and Geometry. I tried Mr. D two years ago with my oldest for Pre-Algebra, and he did well, but I had issues with it, so we didn't go back to them. I hope you find a good fit!

I checked on Master Books website and for Pre-Algebra, it will be under Jr. High Principles of Mathematics Book 2. Algebra is part of their Highschool program.

Great choices! Our oldest or using from adam to us on her own too. It’s pretty good overall. Sometimes she shares that it’s a little dry. Wondering how it’s going for y’all?

I'd say overall, it's going well. I can understand her saying it's a bit dry at times. I think it helps that I'm doing it with them and we can discuss things as we go. Doing 2 lessons a day can feel like a bit much, but we've gotten used to it, and it's what's working to keep us on track and not have to do history every day.
