    Great tips! Thank you! We had issues with humidity too. We'll try again with your tips and hopefully have a better success rate.

    First time doing a tutorial, please excuse any verbal discrepancies.. not good at this sort of thing but hoping it may help others out there with the issue of not enough humidity in these units. Below is also some Ebay links to the external Hygrometers that i found really good for keeping track of humidity levels.

    Thanks for the video. We’re looking at getting a Janoel at the moment and curious about what’s involved with the humidity control. How often do you find you are adding water into the holes, ie is that a daily job or perhaps every few days? Also, do you have a recommendation for the particular hygrometer and thermometer device to purchase and use? Thanks :)

    Bought through ebay same model without any prior knowledge about incubators. I was thinking to return the incubator to the supplier as it hasn't got humidity reader but after watching your video, changed my mind. Your video is definitely very informative and hats off to you to be so innovative by putting sponges and paper towels to keep the humidity high. I will try your method.
    Which hygrometer did you use with buttons and a probe? Can you share link of the product. Thanks
    Also Do you have to keep sponges from Day 1 or can be done on Day 17 or 18?

    On day 18 I add 200 to 250 m water.to second hole.how much daily after that.do I need to turn the temp up at all or just leave the settings alone.do I need a heat lamp once they have hatched.

    • @deanneperry9406
      @deanneperry9406  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Caleb, can't see why not, I only used the dense sponge because i thought it would hold more water. As long as your still topping up water through the channel holes, all good 😊👍

    Hi, how do you check if the egg turner motor is working properly? I have one and I’ve tried to turn on for 20 minutes just to test but I didn’t see the tray move even it was inserted properly

    • @deanneperry9406
      @deanneperry9406  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It's hard to see the tray move, as it does it VERY slowly. I always run my incubator 24 hours before i put in fertile eggs, I put the tray in and set it all up, then put one unfertilised egg in with an X facing upwards on it with a pencil. just check it in an hours time, to see if the X on the egg has moved downwards, then you will know the tray is moving & eggs will turn.

    What was the humidity percentage you mentioned in first 17 days and the lockdown time ?
    Because first time I put the eggs in the same incubator today is the 13th day for eggs in the incubator and today I received my wired acurite thermometer but the humidity shows between 30to 33%
    Can help please

      There are a lot of the market, all do the same thing. Ebay is where i got it from but can't find the one i used, this one i would say would be a good alternative www.ebay.com.au/itm/203133813382?_trkparms=ispr%3D1&hash=item2f4bb80286:g:1dMAAOSw2p1f89X7&amdata=enc%3AAQAFAAACkBaobrjLl8XobRIiIML1V4Imu%252Fn%252BzU5L90Z278x5ickkrmmq8hWevtuKE7%252F%252BLfVXtt%252BE7E%252F936loHCxsAmzasSLR%252FnMjqDDz7Ak%252FYAETLONPDaL91WFzLh7POhiDkBAo6j%252BwEpXOba588hipyUeXF7RBT4yasGMJClP7%252Botz9GhWWrg%252BwjPNiBDu0ZqWgv4uq5VHpXs2txG9X2vMxHqMIAzjxmfrPOWm7bLyABNApWUx0Qq15SWS0vf1xf84Ea2pxG70oQ7BzVgHriQ5qhmdjlNkVWtXcX8gl4naLGnDd6mWSewhzEhfxjqovbwW9Er%252BXQ8wBs8troua39yHDHa9JHo151Cv4uNSc3Ngf1yc9B7HCYWr56DiTX%252BrAlYziRkCZLPgWrKgdtiMZePdGUsSU6CTikOWgtgdSfnOfiNZkSXxn3WEITOIlnK%252FM20thyKuEmXQLO%252FUp2pC5eLtEXEENm0gjdsAaUMC%252FMFVrU0U%252BoRpZWkXO3Zxe%252FkqMVin26HdQKukR0%252BuKktdQPe7%252FY3oeXvvFmVLzS7yFL2m8IJ57Rxql7985bJqEqFIgBSDUURnXC70qAa4I9%252FKaW5zjBwGQTPooJZaAuz8fHIm3rvbfv8Xh4otbFenf4siR%252F8cgSWJEL5VEKwKLvpZyAJeL5gB2MbAJ%252F3KoqLf%252BlH4n17pFCAP1nAC%252BdC9g99KLS4SdwhUI0WaZ3p0TzDLMoCTMwsX1l7crmYKT4k1cTnsqUYO8bHi%252FX7S18S6xSZ8enPjG3VKLTq7Eakul6KPuhLVvBraqMCC7KHIJoe64dwU%252FGTRwd8P%252FGIjsW4Nxml75LR2%252BubvVxMljkRs17KcHiVNit6pjpOucwZ8pmztLGvBYZ%252BN9sId%7Ccksum%3A203133813382ae7d04f93e90482898afe4d54bf6dcdc%7Campid%3APL_CLK%7Cclp%3A2334524
