    I never seen frikadeller served that way, it's a interesting take on the dish. I love to try it out.

      These look pretty dry even with the tiny bit of sauce.

    When you’re cooking the meatballs I know you have to do batches do you keep adding butter to the pan?

    nope, nothing at all to do with Frikadeller at all, that right there is hybrid of a Swedish meatball and a British sausage. there is no sage in frikadeller at all, and Frikadeller are supposed to be flat like a patty or have 3 sides.

    That is not authentic Frikadeller. Not entirely.. The recipe can vary from household to household, but this is mine: ½beef and ½pork grounded. mix in salt first. Then the egg. Then add a tablespoon of flour, 1 teaspoon of onion powder and some pepper. mix in. then add 1 large onion ½graded ½minced. We love the onion bits in the texture. finally add milk until consistency is good. frying pan with butter and so on.. Then serve with boiled potatoes and brown gravy.
    Also, Frikadeller has nothing to do with Ikea. That is Sweedish meatballs. completely different.
