    For conventional I thought you had to come up with 20% down I was stressing out good info.. if you go with a conventional is there a PMI?

      There is a PMI with conventional if you do not put down 20%. The purpose of the 20% is to avoid the PMI.

      There will be PMI on any mortgage typically is you don't put down the 20%. Putting down that much otherwise would kind of be just like throwing a bunch of money away when it was not necessary.
