    what are your go-tos for getting out of a slump? 📚 i’m so glad that i recently got back into reading. the little bursts of joy it gave me made me want to get out of this slump even more!

      i love to crochet! it is soo nice have the satisfaction of accomplishing a piece even if all i did while making it was lay in bed and watch movies!

    When I'm in a slump, I don't always readily recognize it or even fight things that could be helpful. But I find the things that help me regulate, even if they don't deslump me entirely, are the annoying things most of us already know about. The things that do help often tune into my senses or decompress them to help me be present in my body. Light a favorite smelling candle. Walk outside. Wear noise cancelling headphones. Wear something soft. Pet my cat. Journal. Sing in my car. Low lights. Weighted blanket. Stretching. Napping. Calming music. Open curtains. Talking to a friend. Eat fruits and veggies. Brush teeth. Look at something colorful. Warm meal. Hot drink. Cold drink.

      ahh tanya thank you for these tips!! i'm going to write them out on a sticky note so i can remember them when i'm in a funk. walking outside and stretching are ones that make the biggest difference for me (and they're also ones i do the least lol)
      also, it's so true that when i'm feeling out of sorts, i'm likely constantly distracting myself with stimuli and rarely being present. thank you again for these reminders and for watching! hope you have a great week 😊

    it is over as soon as I put sweatpants on 😭
    it really feels like slump season right now :(( but i’m proud of you for doing some stuff you love!! may better days be on the way!! 🫶🏽

      lol it's truly a KO move 😂 and i know!! i feel like once the sun comes back out i'll be a new woman, but for now i'm just doing the best i can. here's to better days for us both!! 🥂

    Yeah, I need to take my booty outside for some Vit D. And start eating salmon and hearty salads again. The moment I indulge with a low quality diet, it reeks havoc on me.

      yesss it’s crazy the difference some sunshine makes! and same here lol and then the indulging isn’t even fun anymore if you do it too much 😩
