I found out that I am a person of habit and like to have a curated makeup bag and use the same product until its finished. So it's dumb to keep a variety of things when a well curated makeup bag is enough for my day and night looks. Which means I'm on a no buy until every product in my collection enters fresh and gets used up still fresh 😂

I just threw out some eyeliners from my Ipsy days which was definitely 2016-17, I believe. And I am still upset that I never got the Brown Sugar palette. I know I probably have it 10x over, but I wanted it lol

what product have you changed your mind about recently?

I've been so tempted by the Tower 28 cream blushes! But I've heard the Tower 28 products in general also tend to expire quicker, so I feel like I shouldn't get one until it's my only blush and I can use that more intensively.

Have you checked out the Cutie Palette in Platinum from Nabla? I don’t have this one, but I do have the Side by Side Nude Palette by them and it’s one of the best neutral palettes I own. I wish they sold more of Nabla’s products instore at Ulta.

Sephora collection has a silver shadow I love!! It’s about 8 bucks too. Half magic has a nice liquid glitter eyeshadow in a silver as well! Loved this video!

Basically all Benefit eyebrows products are perfect BUT so are Nyx pencils/brow mascaras, for less ££ - I never look elsewhere

Its a quad, but my most favorite silver shadow with a silver base is from the brand Kaleidos!

I’ve changed how I view and what I buy during the Sephora sales. I keep a tally of when I finish a skin care products so during the sale I know how many I need to get through to the next sale. This last sale I did buy one blush and one lip product, but both of are everyday use. I used to own SO MANY makeup palettes, think urban decay naked and too faced chocolate bar palettes. Like you said in the video, during the pandemic I dramatically cut back on my everyday makeup and honestly haven’t looked back. I still like eyeshadow looks for going out sometimes, but I also really like highlighting my natural beauty. Not to mention, my skin loves it too. I’ve really learned for myself personally, less is more.

The categories of makeup users made me reflect on my spending habits! I’m a hobbyist for eyeshadow and lip products but utilitarian for everything else. I personally can’t have too much variety or I’ll get overwhelmed. And I love the swatchitforme subreddit!! I use it all the time to compare with what I already have.

Giana I’m so happy to have found your channel - I’ve watching beauty TH-cam for over a decade and now that I’m an adult with my own makeup collection I the content I enjoy most is people’s favorite videos with consistent products shown and used, shop my stash, no buy updates, etc….
