The issue with Turbo OutRun is they added too many sprites on and off track, This made the game too busy visually. They also made many parts of the routes narrower, combine this with a faster car that has turbo and this results in a very broken flow to the gameplay. This port seems to have a better flow in the early stages due to less sprites. Never put blind sharp up hill corners in your pseudo 3D racer as they just suck.

余談ですが、アーケードでターボアウトランプレイしていた人物としまして、渋谷大介・小鳥遊なおき・斉藤友宏・青山浩之・小林伸丞居りました。
ギャラクシーフォースと同様タウンズ版の移植です!

Oh I absolutely agree, especially given CSK Research Institute also worked on the home port of Strike Fighter, which was also on SEGA CD.
アーケード版とは全然違うね。
スペックに差があるので仕方がないかな~!
ステキなドライブ中にゲップの音とか、最悪。。。どこかの、いなか者が作曲したのかな??多分そうだね。
