Anyone else notice the one truck sat in the lot for almost 6 weeks, bottom right of the video. Cool video.
Rusty Nail Actually I was wondering how long that box truck was going to sit there
Right
Rusty Nail yes hahahahahha that truck
Rusty Nail yes I did
Rusty Nail yea
I was more interested in the changing water levels. cool to see
Nick Schoendorf me too
I was hoping I'd see this comment
Faiz Khalifa
Same. Funny thing is, it was the very first comment I saw!
NormEatsRice the moon.
NormEatsRice the dock was the best
I hate it when the snow gets all covered with dirt. Snow is beautiful when it first falls. Then it gets all dirty.
Ani the arctic fox And especially when they salt the roads and it gets all brown.. :(
Ikr!
*Is pollution not dirt*
XZd3stroy1 I realize that. Dirty is the opposite of clean. Therefore I used it as a synonym for pollution covered for the sake of simplicity.
Ani the arctic fox nah but it's cuz of the cars that's why... I live in NY
I should probably start my homework
Exactly what I’m thinking
Same
sneeakysteve this is me right now 😂😂
I almost pissed my pants when i read this!

If you increase the video speed is much more satisfying
Vicente Trigo thank you
How
@@ryanwilkins5771 Click the three dots, go to playback speed, and...
No! You know what? You've had months!!! Figure it out.
No, slow the video down, much more satisfying.
Nightcore violin
It looks like the water is breathing.
How many xbox achivement here ?
Yes it does.
Need to get my life together......I’m watching snow melt!
Haha I know right.
there's a guy called post 10 that unclogs storm drains if you want a change of pace
I love snow...
It's like watching I work with .But they never leave.
I don't live anywhere near an ocean so the changing tide was pretty fascinating it amazes me how much the water level changes
"I don't live anywhere near an ocean so the changing tide was pretty fascinating it amazes me how much the water level changes"
- this is nothing! The highest tidal ranges exceed 15m!

...a dead body was found in that white box truck. the police removed it on the evening of april 15th
Seriously?
yea that's sick
Lol
^^^ 😐 oh neil
@@againstthis Lol?? wtf
May 2: "cool, I knew I left my keys somewhere around here"
So this is what my life has become, sitting home alone watching a video of snow melting.......sigh.
Haha hey your not alone.
Over 890,000 of us watched too.
I love snow.
Yes, isn‘t it great?
Everyone: watching snow or water
Me: when will this white truck moves?
I don't know about anyone else but who else climbed these things in parking lots when we where kids?
oh yeah
I did
And I’m still a kid so... does that count?
Uhh duh. Now I have a 4x4 and like to put at least one tire on them
@@Redbikemaster that comment was me 3 years ago, I got a sick 99 outback and it just goes through anything
R.I.P snow
It's very cool :p You made my day
snow will come back next year ! don't cry
ExpressionDi but not really
This felt a lot longer than a minute and a half
Cause your brain is actively scanning the scene and trying to remember it I think, I dunno.
2x speed 😎
Because it's not, it's actually 1 minute and 31 seconds.
@@JackR_TV lol
Looking at dirty snow makes me want an Oreo mcflurry from McDonald's.
The water level changing is actually low tide and high tide.
Why is it titled 90 seconds it should be titled 91 seconds
Jackson gamer
Because 90 seconds sounds better than 91.
Jackson gamer because the last picture was shown for more than a second
I have made 40 second videos, to the exact frame of 40, and when it gets uploaded it adds a second to the video, so that is why it says 90 seconds in title, but in the video it says 91 seconds(1 minute and 31 seconds)
get a life
Clickbait
Finally! A parking spot!
I was just as interested in watching the tides. Basically like watching the water chase the moon around the earth.
That Neuco white 5 ton truck definately got a bunch of parking tickets 😉
Big $$ for the city.
The parking lot doesn’t exist in the winter, that must suck
I love how there’s just trucks that occasionally sit for days or weeks before moving
I'm concerned for that truck sitting in the same spot for a month and a half.
@Austin Ho Yeah I saw that. What's weird is unless the body was preserved, it would've started to smell within days. It took them a month?
Honestly, the most satisfying part of this is not the snow but the way the lake level changes
Neat to see the changing water levels! And the hustle and bustle of the people!
Yes that's true.
This is what happens in southern cities the day after it snows
By noon the morning it snows
Can’t wait for snow snow ❄️ this fall and winter time stay safe everybody god bless 🙏🏾🙏🏾

The Boston Globe. I was almost quick to judge b4 I saw the entire video. that camera was absolutely STILL. nice job.
Watching all the cars till the end and then all of a sudden wtf where did the big rock go 🤣
i remember in lithuanian winters when we have cold winters i would always climb snow mountains the highest one was 10 meters tall
Why on earth was all that piled onto the parking space instead of just pushed a notch further into the river?
Sam Sung Probably would add too much water. Also the river was probably frozen in winter. This video starts in spring after it's probably started thawing. Also, it's dirty polluted snow... why on Earth would you want that pushed into a river?
Because it’s against the law seriously
the chemicals are toxic to aquatic life
@@BadgerCheese94 and the rest.
"Also, it's dirty polluted snow... why on Earth would you want that pushed into a river?"
Yeah because that 20 feet of distance the water travels from the melted snow into the river is REALLY gonna make a big difference.
Slow thawing into the river causes less flooding for local residents . Obviously .
The music was perfect for this video .... very cool
This is so cool!
Nice, Recommended 5 years later thanks youtube.
Haha hey what's up?
Makes me love Texas even more.
Didn't it snow in Texas?
@@nickhill8612 It "snows" in Texas. It lasts a few days tops usually and is like 1/1000th of that amount. Except for the panhandle. They can get a smidgen more. But still nothing close to that even remotely
Can you actually put snow to melt so close to the sea? I know that where I live they find a place further away from the sea so that the dirt would remain in the soil.
Yes, you can. Many people overthink things and that problem seems to be growing. Or maybe I'm overthinking that. ;-)
The water level change so fast at a regular interval it must’ve been a tidal thing.
Killer video thanks for posting
Pantech truck was parked there from March 6 to April 15. It was more frozen than the snow.
Forget the snow, forget the tides, look at those shadows moving.
That was cool. It took me a sec to realize what was up with the dock, lol
the water going up and down was way more interesting
I love how the nighttime looks just like a quick shadow coming over
I was more interested in the truck in the bottom right
Love this video make more
I love watching the water dance.
Poor snow, it didn’t deserve to die
👁👄👁
I know 😶
I felt nostalgic watching this video because of the music you’re welcome data collectors
. just NEAT ...
Me, in OC where today it was 93 in January 😅
93 is to hot for me.
@@nickhill8612 Its pretty darn warm
I loved this video !
Cool to see the grass get greener too
This was after the snow blitz of 2015 when Boston got 90 inches of snow in 23 days I believe. My own car in Somerville was completely buried in plowed snow at the end of our driveway for six weeks. It slowly started to reappear after about 4 weeks as snow slowly melted and snow stopped falling. It was like watching a long buried Mastodon reappear after the last ice age. Almost forgot it was there.
It was interesting to see the water level moving up & down just like flowing like heart beats 😁😷
April showers brings may flowers
April snow makes may blow
I beg to you all, please tell me about the music in the background, its amazing. I am not a rich man but I will send the last of my estate, I just need to talk to Jeff n Elon, they owe me some.
changing water levels were nice too. and that house on the left certainly did a lot of work during this time as well;)
A melting snow bank.. the most interesting thing the globe has produced in years.
I liked seeing the grass turn green
Enjoyed that 👍👍👍
The moon is an unsung action hero in this water dance.
saw this video when it was uploaded, and now im seeing it again 5 years later lol
Very nice video 🤗
I bet myself it was gone by May. I lost
And there goes all the tire rubber and oil from roads down in the water. 👍🏼
So cool
Great time lapse photography; well done dude
I am sure, someone had driven into the water from that parking lot...
I loved watching the tide changes.
Glad to be living in the south,no snow around till May,no matter how high you pile it
Could have cut the melt time by a third... easily. The black on snow slows down the melt. A few shovels full exposing the clean snow under the surface ... Learned that decades ago... We are always the first on the street to have no snow....
Wonderful video. I love a long time lapse like this and the music is great. Do you know what it's called and who it's by?
Watching the months tick by, thought it was going to take all year for minute then.. can you imagine, October roles around, wahoo! The ice has finally melted and the car parks back, next day.. blizzard.. argh, never mind. 😂🤣
Who wants to live someplace where you wait until the first of May for all the snow to melt?
The truck in the foreground was completely useless until April 16 - finally! Yippie!!!
Why I'm I watching this I can go outside and watch it myself and I can do watch it each year
I liked watching the floating dock they put in on April 14th top right on the other side of the lake going up and down
The changing water levels was more interesting to me it was so beautiful
The tides continue to rise and fall, and ultimately snow loses the battle to spring. I suppose it’s a kind of metaphor of life.
Awesome video! Bravo for uploading it 👏🏼
That dock movement is pretty cool
Cool video. I noticed the tide changes, the box truck that sat for 6 weeks, a us mail truck that likes to visit the parking lot, probably a lunch break and the river current changes.
Anyone else just watch the dock in the back right?
No one:
Truck in right side of screen: chillin
That was cool
Music: RIOPY - Brave heart
I couldn't find the exact version, but this seems to be a similar version (with additional piano):
th-cam.com/video/jdsxZlgkqmM/w-d-xo.html
Wish I was there too! :D
Cool. Its funny to find how it looks different in street view.
Did anybody else play this on double speed and watch it in 45 seconds?
Cool to watch the tide recede and exceed.
Wow, there's a tide (I suppose?) I'm sad that we couldn't see the summer coming
That was nice
Mad, almost May before it was all gone😮
The white buoys moving in sync with the tides had my attention more.
0:53 Was there some event on April 11? Far more cars in the parking lot than otherwise.
Ya spring brings out ppl more

Always
One year in Boston the snow pile lasted until june, that was a crazy winter.
There are a lot of comments and a few gripes about that one truck that stayed parked there for six solid weeks. Did anyone notice that it is a NEUCO (New England Utility Contractors) truck? They apparently construct underground water and sewer lines, electric and gas lines, and the like. It makes perfect sense that this truck wasn’t in active use during the winter; in Boston, the winter is obviously an off season for such underground utility construction.
Makes sense! Watch the snow melt back to the ocean. The issue I can see is what about all the road salt that is mixed with the snow.
Impressive for how long it lasted. Do the same video for a pile of snow in Arizona!
And after that please do it for a pile of snow next to my house in munich. I‘ll bring you tea!
Actually here is no snow 😢
Just for a moment I forgot time lapses exist and exitedly imagined someone with a huge bunsen burner...
I think that's the way winters ought to be. Over in 90 seconds.
