The word "underrated" gets thrown around a lot, but I think Tim Blake Nelson qualifies. One of the best working actors who doesn't get nearly enough attention.
I've always felt that way and this podcast really just solidified my feelings on him as an artist. I don't know if he's done other podcasts but I'm going to search around. I sure hope he has.
Have you seen The Grey Zone? It's a brilliant underrated movie he wrote and directed that I watched because ladyknightthebrave made a great video essay about it here on youtube. Tim Blake Nelson is super talented!
Tim Blake Nelson is an incredibly talented actor and extremely underrated. Great guest, and like most really talented people, Mr. Nelson is a good person. God bless you sir. 🙏✝️👍
This man is a true genuine American Icon of cinema.he may not have an imposing physical presence in real life, but on the screen, his presence is never something akin to minimal.
I ran across Old Henry last year and was blown away by it. I even bought a streaming copy so i sould watch it whenever I wanted. Even knowing the twist doesn't diminish how good a movie it is. He's always great, but thats a special movie, and he really shines in it.
"So says The Leader" I hope we get to hear that line that was famously coined by Matt Frewer in The Incredible Hulk: The Animated Series in Captain America: Brave New World with Tim Blake Nelsons The Leader. I also enjoyed when he directed the modern take to Othello called "O".
Such an interesting interview. I am learning so much about him. I am enjoying his behind the scenes stories. The Lincoln story was definitely fascinating. He is such a chill guy. Best podcast ever!
I am so happy to have found this channel. Would watch Michael all the time on smallville. This interviews are funny and a great insight into the industry
Great episode and thank you as always for cheering me up with your impersonations of me I will never tire of it and I still cant believe you do it love you guys
Loved O Brother. I can't imagine anyone else as Delmar. My husband and I bought the movie and watched it over and over. We were always quoting it to each other especially when Delmar ran into the river to be baptized. "Where the hell is he going."
Michael thank you so much for another great actor Sr Tim I love you show Inside of you this is my opinion!!! you show is amazing specially the best in USA, You are giving that opportunity to know and get to know each actor and actress on TV screens in more depth, not only to see them act but to know that they are normal, not only because they are famous, etc. It is so interesting to know them inside as well. Take care of everyone who makes this great show and keep inviting more actors and actresses (I hope Mr Keanu Charles Reeves can be there in the future) 👏
Another awesome and fascinating Inside with Tim !! ❤❤ It was such a dense exchange about his career and his books ! ❤❤ I’m looking forward to the next Captain America ! Thank you so much Michael for this amazing podcast every week !!! 💙💖👏👏👏👏👏👏
This podcast was awesome. I really enjoyed Tim Blake Nelson's performance in O Brother, Where Art Thou? He had the best one-liners in the movie and really stood out to me. I think he was the highlight of the film!
Bruh, Tim Blake Nelson?! You just keep outdoing yourself with these guests! I love how chill Mr. Nelson despite his over the top characters he’s known for playing, I can’t wait to see him against Anthony Mackie in Cap 4.
I have to recommend the movie Colossal in which he stars alongside Anne Hathaway and Jason Sudeikis. It's sort of a sci-fi fantasy film very funny but also deals with dark a serious issues
I thought it was funny that Rosey says he has to know every line of every script. He's gone on record saying he only read his lines for Smallville. 😂 But a TBN movie that no one really saw, which I enjoyed, is Cherish. It also starred Robin Tunney, who is great in it as well. 💯
Hi, I was going to subscribe to the Patreon to ask this question but could you guys bring on Chris Columbus the Director of the first two Harry Potter movies and Homealone. I know Michael would get the very best questions out of Chris, trust me if you guys bring him on that’s 1 million view podcast. He’s one of the greatest guys ever watch his interviews of the making of Harry Potter. Please bring Chris Columbus on you guys. I’m subscribing Patreon right now.
I think you should should try to interview a TH-camr named John Allen, aka “Mr Ballen”. He’s a former Navy Seal and he tells horror stories on TH-cam. Since I know how much you like horror stuff, I think you’d really enjoy talking to him since he’s got a TON of horror stories.
Johnny Depp, Brando, Tom Cruise, Bruce Willis have all been fed lines via earpiece. Brando is out due to death and so is Willis due to dementia, but I'd lean towards Depp.
I recently saw Tim in "O Brother..." and he really is quite a talent. I am trying to see him in "...Buster Scrugs" if I can find a copy or it becomes free on a streaming platform (because I'm cheap). I never really thought about him much, and didn't realize he was in "Lincoln", which is an excellent movie. Hearing him talk about his experience making it was interesting. This interview was really good; he seems so nice and down to earth, just a delight to listen to. I felt relaxed listening to this. I loved his comment on how he doesn't try to dwell on the bad things that happen to him. The idea of if one didn't INTEND to do wrong/hurt someone then he/she should just let it go and forgive oneself, is really helpful. Of course, still making amends as needed and such too, as he said. Idk, just really good and hit home for me. Awesome guest to bring on, Michael, and great topics to bring up.
Tim is great as Buster Scruggs. Everything I've seen him in, he never disappoints. On another note, Michael have you thought about having Robert F Kennedy JR on the show? He goes to AA meetings everyday, even sponsors some. I think he'd be a great guest for the podcast. Thanks for sharing these experiences with us 🤟

Thats what character actors are.
LOVE him.
One of my favorite actors ever, ever since I saw him in O Brother Where Art Thou.
Just a fun movie
Tim is one of my favorite actors of all time. So talented.
Tim Blake Nelson is an incredibly talented actor and extremely underrated. Great guest, and like most really talented people, Mr. Nelson is a good person. God bless you sir. 🙏✝️👍
OLD HENRY was an absolute gem.
I was surprised at how good it was
This man is a true genuine American Icon of cinema.he may not have an imposing physical presence in real life, but on the screen, his presence is never something akin to minimal.

i havent even watched yet and i have chills. tim blake nelson is an AMAZING actor and some of his work will forever be immortalized in the best way.
"The results would be ......an Abomination."
Having an ear ache and after the hospital I saw this vid and I'm enjoying it, so thanks for this.
Love that this is a longer episode! I like how chill, but still passionate Tim Blake Nelson seems to be. Gonna check out that audiobook!
Excellent interview! Loved his comment about making The Leader as practical as possible.
Great interview. I always have a lot of time for Tim. He's a lovely bloke.
I always liked him. He is a very good actor and a cool guy too.
Such an interesting interview. I am learning so much about him. I am enjoying his behind the scenes stories. The Lincoln story was definitely fascinating. He is such a chill guy. Best podcast ever!
Old Henry was a great movie. Tim was unbelievable in it. He's one of the good ones. Great episode!
Greetings from England. Tim is a great actor. He looks like such a lovely guy. Oh Brother... Buster Scruggs... my gosh, what a huge talent.
I am so happy to have found this channel. Would watch Michael all the time on smallville. This interviews are funny and a great insight into the industry

You always have my favorite people!
Great episode. Great actor
Great one. Need to have him back
Excited for TBN to get another crack at his Marvel role. I think he could be amazing.

"You go digging around, all you get is DIRTY!!!"
😭🤣😂😆👏👏👏
really great interview, very interesting guy
One of your best.
Leader!!!
Tim seems like a really lovely guy.

Dude was amazing in Watchmen.
how can you talk with this man for over two hours and not bring up HOLES!?!?!?
this is so good!!
Strong episode.
I’m so glad he’s talking about Child of God . I love everything he did with Franco but that one is my favorite. They were a great team
Tim is such an incredible actor ! If i see his name I´ll watch that move or series or what ever it is
Love this actor.

Amazing episode and thanks for pointing out Old Henry, which I somehow missed.. but damn why the spoiler?! lol
Loved his character... Busted Crocs, no?... Groggy Socks?... Hmmm... Buster Scruggs! :D
Gary oldman in true romance is awesome
12:40 who is the earwig actor?????
Love Tim!
Michael when will u be going on bad friends can't wait see it and hear it too lol enjoying your podcast HOPE YOU READ THIS THANKS AGAIN BE SAFE

This man would’ve been great as the Leader for that hulk movie
Old Henry was epic!!!
Finally I hear someone else pronounce "Buscemi" correctly. I was beginning to think I was taking crazy pills!
Soooo, from "smells are important," straight to "my fart book?" hahaha
What actor is he talking about with the ear piece? Im dying to know....
Johnny Depp, Brando, Tom Cruise, Bruce Willis have all been fed lines via earpiece. Brando is out due to death and so is Willis due to dementia, but I'd lean towards Depp.
@@youtube_moderatorClooney
You guys would be great in a project together. Aging professionals type thing. A confidence men dramedy with rosey and Tim would be legendary.
Johnny Depp uses an earwig, but he could be referring to someone else. They were both in "Donnie Brasco."
Overcome
I love TBN! ❤ Oh, Brother...Holes...
i almost don't want to watch this podcast because I like Tim's acting so much
Old Henry is amazing.
Old Henry = Badass
He's not underrated because his talent is underappreciated. It's because the market is oversaturated ×10
The actor that has the earwig, it was Tom Cruise I believe
Ryan wears Rod Laver tennis shoes😅 #footbag hackysack professional shoe of choice👌🏻
Dude is sucha good actor. Suggestion for the podcast, Jamie Kennedy. Think he would be an interesting guest
I firmly believe we may yet see his character in Dune: Messiah.
As Lex Luther jumped off the screen....this stuff is very good product
El doctor Mengueche
I get the feeling Daniel Day-Lewis is the silliest person alive when not working on a film.
His character looking glass was insanely good, wish he'd been in the watchmen movie too but the show was great.
Un podcast con el doctor mengueche???!
Can we get a Buster Scruggs prequel?
Who forgets subscriptions? I have like... 3 How is rocket money not broke yet?
I watched that terrible Watchmen show just to see this man. Phenomenal actor...
His friend who got fired from eyes wide shut is Harvey Keitel

IF There was a Batman movie Made in the early 2000s he could have been a decent choice to play as joker / riddler / mad hatter
Should have been
The Leader
El Dr. Mengueche
The disrespect of Ryan to be on his phone while the guest is talking. Not good man. Not good.
Hey Michael, I would like you to invite Callum Blue one day
Pandansky is the goat
Does He have to pay his guests? I'm curious
Tim, it’s ok to use “They” lol!
Right 😂
I almost skipped this one... I thought it was Ari Shaffir in the thumbnail pic.
Another version of No from Oz is more a city dialect and it's "neh."
