As a non-motorbike fan but passionate simracer I'm always impressed how much grip these (super-)bikes have while leaning into a turn with just a few percent of tire treat in contact to the road - normally you think "that actually can't work !"...much Respect ! 😎

That might be true. Trackdays on normal tracks are a much safer way to increase your skill level and learn your bikes limits. Try that first then come to the Nürburgring, because it is amazing!
Went round this on my fjr1300 touring bike in 2005 without the effort these boys were giving. The bends are bad enough but the undulations and crests at their speeds is incredible. Not all riders on here are up to what they are doing imo. Fab footage tvm

Finde die Nordschleife zehn mal entspannter, als die Landstraße trotz höherer Tempi. Selbst wenn man da stürzt hat man immer noch 10 mal mehr schutz als bei 80 auf der Landstraße. Ich verstehe nicht, warum die Nordschleife so gefährlich sein soll. Solange man nicht letzte Rille fährt und in den Spiegel schaut fährt man mit ner 1000er dort enspannt ~ 8min und kommt heile nach Hause. Klar in den Videos sieht man immer wieder mal knappe Situationen, aber das ist in der Realität nur sehr selten der Fall. Die allermeisten fahren dort rücksichtsvoll, man sieht natürlich in TH-cam-Videos nicht die 99% die aufeinander aufpassen, sondern nur die Gestörten und die Unfälle.

Man sollte immer den Respekt vor der Nordschleife bewahren - sonst wird es gefährlich! Und vor allen Dingen sollte man Streckenkenntnis haben, bevor man da versucht schnell zu fahren. Dann bleibt Aprilia. Da kann man stresskilometer auslesen. Das sagt mehr als renne ja/nein (kommt auch drauf an wie man dort fährt). Nürburgring Nordschleife ist keine Rennstrecke sondern eine öffentliche mautpflichtige Straße. Deshalb steht in den Versicherungen auch dieser extra drin.

Yep, 100% agree, that was a proper "Oh SH+#" - moment... Usually as a biker you wanna ride on a track so you don´t have to deal with all the dangers on public roads, but that absolutely can´t be applied here.
Had the same thing happen to me a couple months ago on a local road. Was running a quick pace, passed an M3 and that apparently upset the chud driving it because he came flying past me a few corners later and immediately spun on the crest I was slowing down for right in front of me.
6:36 we can't see anything inside the dust. Very dangerous situation on that part of the track. We was so lucky that we was able to reduces our speed just in time and there was no others staying inside the dust. 😅

How can that be cured if it is a suspension setup problem? I was using the rear brake to try and slide the rear but was either to much or not enough rear brake so the bike was bouncing.
@@77_bridge Suspensions require maintenance from time to time. It is an old model and probably has not changed the fluid or the internal shocks. Both front and rear or just need adjustments to your weight and driving style.
@@JJMakx I had the suspension setup for my weight but it could probably do with new oil. Maybe just my riding technique needs to improve, but the more you fuck about, the more you find out😂 Thanks for the advice👍

Even on the ordinary road. Though, note, some like me on the road wear “Draggin’ jeans”. They’re Kevlar lined in all the friction panels….if you go down, and they’ve pockets for slim armour in knees and hips. Space alien gear worn by road riders generally doesn’t impress me. I wonder if they intend to ride on the limit, believing that their “protection” makes them immune to injury? Spoiler: it doesn’t. Armour definitely helps in a limited type of situation but the worst case, it just makes cutting you out of your gear harder. Collision with road furniture at more than VERY low speed, nothing protects you, so don’t put yourself in positions where that’s quite likely. Hitting oil or gravel & sliding without striking anything, thoughtfully chosen gear can result in no injury, except to your wallet and pride. Don’t ask me how I know.
Basically the most chaotic track day ever with all skill levels thrown together and mixing bikes and cars. Madness!
