She looks like she had a lot of fun goung back to all the musical stuff, which makes me sorta optimisting about the possibility of even more new eva stuff. Also, I'm glad to know that she loves "the other side" as much as I do. Because I always really, really loved their psycho songs XD
Around that time she always said that they were really working "as a band". I'm asking myself what was difference from the writing process from the other 2 albums? O.o
It was basically just her and only one other member. For Fallen it was just Ben and her, and for The Open Door it was Terry and her (and John for All That I'm Living For).
I preferred the old way. The new album is ok but not for me. It seems a bit disjointed and boring in parts. The other side bridge seems super out of place and strained as an example. The first 2 albums had some really interesting things happening. Fallen was heavily electronic and the gothic classical elements mixed into the forefront. The Open Door was compelling and honest. It was very much classical and even though it lost a lot (but not all ) of the weird electronic elements it was raw in its passion and it showed she had really written form the heart and the maturity came through. They made a record that got turned down by wind up and they had to rehash it in less than a year and it shows.
mylittleblackenedparadise have you heard the twit clips from the scrapped album that turned into this one? Very interesting and a Completely different direction. Its not that its a terrible album but for me it just didn't have a return quality to it. Ive listened to it maybe a handful of times and just don't feel compelled by many of the tracks. Some are good but overall I don't ever crave it like the others.
@KkavishH: I write. sometimes I don't know what I will call someone or a character. I start with a general name or number then fill it in later when the part is filled in. Thanks NME, this is the real guts of the album. I'm loving you {:^)?
