- After watching the movie, it’s pretty easy to tell that the Druun are meant to be the main antagonists and by far the biggest threats to humans and dragons, right? But, what if I told you that they may have actually been the unsung hero of the story, and the reason that Kumandra could once again become united and prosperous? Looking at some clues throughout the movie has helped us see that the Druun were secretly leading the people of Kumandra to the answer the whole time, they just needed to look a bit closer.

I personally thought the poses the Druun put the humans was like a cruel joke because it makes them look like they are holding there hands out for water which aside from the gem there weakness is water.
Why did the dragons not wake up 500 years before? Theory; it was assumed by the dragons that humans would destroy themselves without them. Some resented this protective role and inadvertently or otherwise, gave rise to the druun (which pose humans to beg for mercy from their gods, the dragons). Sisu's siblings realised this, and entrusted her with the gem because she was the least likely to have that unhelpful belief. Sisu wasn't at her best, but was able to restore humanity, enough to get them to complete the spell, which was the plan all along. Thoughts?
I think the druune is a punishment for not unifying groups
It’s like My Little Pony a new generation. Maybe the druun Shall remind us that unity is important, but so many people are too much for one ruler and there Will be war between people if we don’t have a Commons enemy where we Can stand against the enemies together

I like to think that the druuns actually came from a tainted (evil) dragon with stone powers (since every dragon has its own power). And then (like the movie said) multiplied.
The dragons brought rain and water, how would there a stone dragon? Also how to stones make orbs of ???
/litterally makes no sense. druns are the negative enerygy of people and are mythical beings same as dragons. the dragons dont get questioned so neither should they.

I guess if dragons were essentially water spirits then when the dragons turned to stone the weather couldn’t stop the druune.

What bad weather are you talking about? Were there clouds? lightning... There was no rain.
It was not possible for the dragons to call rain to counter the drones.

Well that also brings the question, what if the druun truly turned everyone to stone? If there are no more humans to create malice and distrust what happens to druun. Do they disappear. If there’s no more humans and life on earth then truly the druun must be antagonistic only. Sure they’re important in balance but clearly they can take away everything making it unbalanced.
That’s a good question, but what would happen? Life would be stable still. If they did turn everyone to stone EXCEPT Sisu, they would have no way to tell, as I see it they are just purple masses. Only time can tell

The way how they propose their hand like an oval sign I think it looks just like the movie from the Pokemons. Like when Pikachu and Ash want to visit the Melemele Island. They also did the same hand thing as Raya and others from the movie.

I would like to add as well that the dragons did have unity because the humans that turn into stone are put into those poses yet when the dragon where turned into stone they weren't forced into the same pose.
As I said in my theory what if a dragon - An evil one created the Druun? In my thought again, how the Druun makes the people pose. I don’t think it’s a kindness. In my mind, it makes them pose as if they are worshiping it. If this was a dragon, he/she would make them pose like that as a symbolism of worshiping itself. But yet just another theory?
in the end when raya and her friends are stone not all of them are in that position. some have their hand on the others's shoulders. so im confused why they all didnt get the offering pose
@@aziraphale5752 yeah you’re right. But I think in that pose, it was teamwork and trust. However, if it was an evil dragon or an evil creator, it possibly be a sign for the heroes they failed. But what I said is mostly made up - or is it?

Umm isn’t it obvious Raya was connected to Sisu, due to having been baptized as a guardian of the jewel like her ancestors? So of courses, it took so long, until & why Raya was the only one able to summon Sisu.
I think that Sisu's family had a plan for uniting humans to destroy the Druun instead of just banishing them and choose her to be the last dragon because she was the most trusting and thus the teacher humans would need. As such, they left information behind that she had survived and how to wake her.

All of the people that were turned to stone face the same way and the many reason I know this is because we rayas dad after he throws her into the water he is still looking at her but he turns after it goes past him
IDK but I have a question like the moment where Rayahs father YETS her into the river to save her from the water phobic druun; just WHY did he not JUMP INTO THE WATER with her? I mean he has the time to reassure her before being petrified. Other then that this is a neat movie watch.
I think that how they gave the gem to Sisu is the position that the people were turned to stone in.
I think that there had been suspicion and hostility between the human tribes long before the Druun emerged, but it had been suppressed by the dragons. As a result it festered until it burst out in the form of the Druun.

Why did the druun come the first time? in the story it doesnt tell or say the people were fighting with eachother. they only started to distrust after the dragons were gone.
Basically a yin-&-yang kind of force is what the drum and dragons are. One force stand as evil of human nature and elements while the other stands as the good in it

I agree with the video that Kumandra wouldn't have united if the Druun hadn't come 'back'. But 500 years earlier when humans and dragons were united, why did the Druun have to come? If they hadn't come in the first place, they wouldn't have to come a second time. So I don't think that the Druun are good or the heroes...It makes perfect sense they aren't🤷🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️

The first time you have a problem is if you’re going through something and you’re trying.
I think that you do have a good point and I do understand, but mostly I think it would be a new generation, the old leaders pass on and our new leaders would know the importance of unity, making the story seem less... Decisive. I have a prediction of the next movie ( if they have another ) the dragons then get divided, each type going into was once a kingdom, this draws a new type of monster, not Drune but something else, then the humans help out and it’s a long story but you made a good point. That’s all I’m saying, I’m leaving a like, it’s a good theory!
The Drunn put me in mind of the "evil" creatures in The Unicorn Chronologicals (and the creature in the Ways in The Wheel of Time). In the end we find out that they were created by the unicorn's trying to remove negative emotions that they were ashamed of. I think that it makes sense that Sisue's siblings tried to help the humans by doing the same for them. It worked for a while but then the negative emotions came back and the Drunn was basically going back home. Sisue was the only dragon that could stop the Drunn because she was not involved in the original spell.

It's much like the Daemonblight/Malevolence in Tales of Zerestria/Berseria. In the games it is a curse set upon humanity by the Seraphim who didn't want to coexist with humanity. When negative emotions boil over (like with the movie), it turns humans into demons and Seraphim into dragons. I suspect, like with many Disney movies, that it's an idea inspired from the games or the source the games were inspired from. So I think that, like the games (maybe even the original source), the source of the Druun could either be a higher power or indeed the dragons.
Though, I think the lesson in Tales of Berseria was a little better, because without any negative emotion there would only be logic and no free will. After all, love (in most of it's forms) can more often than not also cause negative emotions and fighting evil itself isn't without it's negative emotion. It's only you come to terms with the evil within you that you can learn to build a better world... or like Rangetsu; live with what you really are.
In short; we are not perfect and never trust the higher powers.
If they never attacked the first time the dragons wouldn’t have disappeared and humanity wouldn’t have split apart into the five tribes there was only discord because of them, them showing back up did provoke people, specifically the main protagonist, to seek out a solution but they wouldn’t have needed a solution and the dragons wouldn’t have disappeared if they didn’t attack the first time
Except that entire logic hinders on the idea that human greed wouldn't have caused people to turn on the dragons and attempt to take their power. Sisu flat out states they are born from the greed of people.
ok, i know this isnt about the movie but.
we know that in one the movie scenes, Seesu says this,
''I got the glow! my little sisters amba's magic!"" i think so.
but. when we get the flash back of the thingy 3:46.
Seesu is the only one the is small. so wheres Amba then?
My little brother is taller than me. Younger, but taller.
Amba is the dark blue one to Pengu's left in the flashback, and yes, it is possible for younger siblings to be taller than their elders. My little sister is noticeably taller than I am, even though that wasn't the case until we were teens. And of course, our younger brother is taller than both of us.
Plus as far as dragons are concerned, maybe each dragon's power might have something to do with it. Since Sisu is the least powerful of her siblings, maybe that's why she's also the smallest despite not being the youngest.
Just because the Druun preserved their victims doesn't mean they wanted what was best for them.
Well hopefully this isn't an issue like the one from watchmen where the threat must resurface occasionally to ensure peace.

The victims of the Druun may have holding their hands out in a gesture of accepting something. I was raised Episcopalian and that gesture reminds me of communion.
The title must be clickbait or something. Nothing in this entire video indicated that the dragons had sent the druun.

Personally, I don’t believe in this theory. If the dragons made the Druun without humanity knowing that would contradict the belief that people should be able to trust each other. It would shatter the trust between humans and Dragons if that were to become known
Think of the dragons and the druun as yin and yang. The dragons are good with bad intentions. While the druun are bad with good intentions. Peace is just a waiting game for the next conflict and conflict brings change which brings peace. Humanity will never truly unify unless a common goal is globally made.
