One day one of these big companies will give nick a spare yacht for the work he puts in advertising there products or an all expensive paid yacht holiday. Because this man is a you tube legend
@@AQUAHOLIC this definitely works better I agree. Plus the long runtime - which on another channel might put "clickers" off, enticed me to click on this one
The marble in the guest bedrooms is actually Travertine and it’s a stone rather than marble. Nice to see the quality of finishes and materials used. Nicer than the normal mass produced yachts.
Hi Nick, I'm a stone mason, just wanted to tell you the "textured beige marble" everywhere is actually Travertine, a sedimentary stone that often has fossils found throughout. Beautiful stuff.
I love the way you edited this video. The compare and contrast segments were very interesting. It is cool to have both tours back to back in the same video so you can really see the differences. Brilliant!
But unlike a restaurant, there is controlled meals. No unexpected rush or substitutions. Think of it more like catering prep than restaurant prep and the space makes more sense. Allergens and preferences known ahead of time, limited menu offerings already agreed upon, etc.
Galley is very small. Seen bigger ones on a yacht half this size. Should be at least 50% bigger for this size of yacht with the number of guests and crew.
You're exactly right. I was a cook in the navy. I was on a small ship, and even aboard that I worked for the officers in an even smaller galley. You have what you, be it ingredients or menus. I now work in a restaurant and it's the exact opposite.
I wasn't expecting 2 tours. Both yachts are stunning. I would honestly be happy with either one, though I do prefer the owners cabin on the same level as in yacht one. Then I prefer the extra level like on boat 2. That engine room was impressive. One of the biggest engine rooms I have seen, just incredible. Thank you so much Nick for taking us on a tour of them
Hey Nick, you made my day. It was less than two weeks ago that I saw the "Frette" cruising off Sardinia near Olbia and was able to get a look from the outside at the marina. I had a hard time keeping my children from running on board, they were so excited. But now, thanks to you, we have the opportunity to do that, even if it is the sister ship.🤩😃
I've not seen a karaoke room before on a yacht and here in October I've seen _two_ different boats with them. I love that you were able to give a side by side comparison, because you can really see & feel the physical differences, not just the cosmetic. Glad to see you're out from "suffering" in rainy Florida and basking in sunny Monaco. 😁
Never seen a Columbus yacht and at first blush very impressed…except… the owners cabin feels claustrophobic with that wide wall facing the bed. Also lacks a nice prepping area for the wife/girlfriend. Wonderful of you to bring us both ships side by side. Wonderful format - thusly.
What a great double tour Nick, I like the second version with the large fly bridge best but would like the interior design of the owners cabin on the main deck from the first version. Beautiful finishes and colours and both have a nice flow to them. The engine room is just awesome, so big and crammed full of tech. Great tour Nick thank you.
Brilliant combo tour! I don’t think either spec would be my choice if I had millions to spend, but overall a really impressive yacht I’d love to choose a spec on. The only thing I really didn’t like was hearing the second one will spend most of its life in harbour.
3:55 that fire extinguisher lol. I wonder what their thought process was when they made the wardrobe like that. "Should we mount the fire extinguisher higher up? Lower down? Lay it on its side? Get a smaller one? Or just place it somewhere else entirely? Nope! Let's cut a square out of the shelf to perfectly accommodate that specific fire extinguisher".
Between these two boats (especially the first), the pillow industry has thrived. My wife also puts enough pillows on the couch to support 12 households. Amazing boats!
That really was fascinating, Nick. The only change I would make, is to the sky lounge. Moving the formal dining back down into the saloon. And having a proper sky lounge on both of these beautiful yachts. As you very often comment, it is nice to have somewhere else to relax. Having been a DJ and karaoke DJ. You can set up equipment anywhere. You don’t necessarily need a dedicated room. It looked a little claustrophobic anyway. 😎👍
Went out for lunch so missed the midday coffee and viewing. Just finished watching, wow and wow. Thank you Nick for a double helping. A great tour. You keep surprising us with these videos.
Yes we got a great "Hinge" in😊 any chance of a "flange" in future Nick...2 lovely super yachts with interesting customisations. Love the sauna/entertainment area on Y2.. Cheers Nick😊🍺
Very cool to see the cultural influence in the choices of both materials and layout. I would definitely take some ideas from the first and others from the second. Great opportunity to trigger the imagination.
I like both. Would merge some of the first with some of the second. But like Nick stated, the boats are owner specified which is brilliant because then you can have it your way! Many thanks for this double vessel tour! 🍷
So absolutely stunning superyachts, and I love both of them😀 The most amazing thing is that you manage to give us the 1 to 1 comparison between these crazy super yachts, STUNNING😳 Thank you Mister Nick, one of your very best videoes so far 🤗
Beautiful yachts! Loved having 2 of the same yachts side by side for comparison. I am one of those who always thought that the customizations you always talked about in your videos was very much a superficial thing, like placing a sofa vs a desk in an area. I never really thought that customizing could also include moving walls and recreating rooms. Maybe I've just not watched enough videos where there is space available to be able to move mountains, or walls, 😊but loved the comparison. Thank you as always for the tour, Nick!
Nick I have been watching you for about two years now I don't think I have seen you do two yachts at once. The difference between the two are cool. Nice job.
Hi Nick, And what a treat you give us today not one but two Superyacht in one show and yes this give the real WOW factor for both ships 2x a Columbus Atlantique of 43 metre but the layouts are so nice to see the differences for me I like the second yacht over the first with on the main deck that sauna and karaoke room or cinema room so great but also below with those 2 double rooms you can make in one master great idear so need but in the other that nice wood, marble and glass makes it very classic feel Great Nick Great what a show ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
🦘🇦🇺 WOW. Thank you Nick. You keep changing your performance up. Two boats brilliantly displayed for comparison. My pick is the second one. Not all days at sea are clear & sunny. Nick from the beautiful wood, stone, and lighting, the understated beauty of this yacht is fantastic. I wish more boats took on this style. Just a pause to mention the wonderful respect you always show the onboard crew by not showing all their cabins or their faces. Not a surprise, but the first ship is certainly by favorite. Maybe the best I have seen on the channel. But somehow I know you will top this one yet again. I adore the work you do and. your delightful personality sort of makes you our virtual best friend. If these companies ever give you a yacht I would LOVE just videos of you going through and tracing pipes, lines, and cables showing where everything goes. One of the reasons I love your content is you don't just show the luxury, you show the crew quarters and the utility and engine areas. That's truly the fascination because it takes a lot of infrastructure to make infrastructure invisible. ❤
Fascinating tour of custom yachts based on the same hull and machinery. I prefer the upper owner stateroom of the first yacht, but I thought it was quite modest for an owner stateroom of a yacht of this size. Lots to like in both yachts. I couldn't figure out if the machinery space was impressive or higgledy-piggledy and poorly laid-out. Thanks for the thorough tours, most interesting and informative.
Really interesting comparison. I much preferred the layout of the second yacht, I thought the owner's bedroom on #1 was quite pokey. However the interior design of #1 was more to my taste. Oh to be in a position to be mulling these things over with the yard. One can dream.
Why didn't I listen to my career master's advice to become a multi-millionaire rock star? I might have been able to afford this floating gin-palace...Never mind, flew in the RAF and had a blast. Money isn't everything, but it does help. Cheers from a very damp and drizzly Otford, Kent, UK.
Fantastic! So glad you put both in the same video, Nick. I love seeing the different use, on that second vessel, of the forward area for the karaoke/film room. Good lucking Mangusta next door as well!
Lovely boats. The "tactile-friendly marble" You were referring to is in fact another kind of the limestone mineral - the travertine. And it is as lovely and pretty as You described. Cheers!!!
I like the cockpit, and plunge pool area much better I like the space. And the salon and forward TV room and a sauna area. Like the lighter decor finish makes her very light and airy. I really like the larger salon and sky lounge areas. The fly bridge gives you back your outer areas. I like her more. Interesting to see the two sisters ship. Thanks Nick
24:15 Flick some switches Nick!! I dare you!! 😜 You know you are on another level when you are allowed all access, and I mean ALL ACCESS, even before the yacht show has opened for the day! Thanks for another great video! :)
I much prefer the décor of the second yacht, but the layout of the first. It's great to get some back-to-back comparisons to see just what could be done if you won the lottery... several times over.
Undeniably beautiful boats, but for some reason … a little ordinary in the interiors for such a beautiful footprint…imho only. You have always stated“ owners specification” so fair enough. Number 2 for me and a GREAT tour as always.👍🙏❤️🇦🇺
Owners stateroom on both felt like the yachts were designed for charting rather than ownership. 26 mil and the master is nothing special, size or otherwise.
They are very nice boat except for the owners' state room, just my opinion. It does not give that wow factor.. but generally, Sir Nick gave us an excellent tour.. 😊😊😊
Waw, Nick! Very impressive indeed! Beautiful yachts and impeccable layouts on both but the last one is a real partyboat and the first much more intimate and chilled. Since the outside spaces are huge on both it is your love of stairs that will probably be the decider.
One of your best videos Nick as the comparisons were seamless. I love them both but would have a hybrid of the two as the fittings. The galley was one,of the better I’ve seen and the fly deck is a cracking option. Really enjoyed this one Nick. Cheers
It's no Gulf Craft Majesty 175 but Mr Burnham sir with a total of 282ft of gorgeousness for a magnificent Super Yacht Sunday who's complaining, not me WOW! Nick what a fantastic episode including great hinge action what more could you want,I could talk all day about these two stunning yachts and what I would have for my yacht, one day 🤞😂 . Nick you've knocked this one out of the park, great finds and tours as ever , I doff my cap to you sir. All the best from Cornwall 🤗🖖👍
Am I the only one that thinks the guest rooms were nicer than the master cabin in terms of design? The stone on the walls was much more interesting in the guest cabins than the bland white upholstery of the master. Talking about the first boat.
Very interesting video of arguably the smallest 43m yacht. Every space seems to be cramped. Even the owners cabin does not show grandezza. What a pity. But, as mentioned: Great information as usual. Thank you!
Wow that other yacht, with a sauna & a TV-room.. rare sight with a room dedicated to the TV / reading.. common practice is in the living room! Second yacht is intresting :)
That's a proper big TV as well you get a real cinema effect on that sofa with the surrounds cranked up (I assume it has them, couldn't see any speakers though)
Excellent tour Bit underwhelming for the size, every time you do a tour in a "big yacht " it just reminds me how good the princess x95 really is This is 10meters bigger than the X95 but they haven't used the space very well
One day one of these big companies will give nick a spare yacht for the work he puts in advertising there products or an all expensive paid yacht holiday. Because this man is a you tube legend
Could do charter reviews or something along those lines.
I totally agree with you, I think his videos should be on TV, and it would make a fantastic TV show .👍 💯

As an ex-owner of a restaurant, I don't envy the chefs who have so little space for preparing meals for ten or more guests on these yachts.
But unlike a restaurant, there is controlled meals. No unexpected rush or substitutions. Think of it more like catering prep than restaurant prep and the space makes more sense. Allergens and preferences known ahead of time, limited menu offerings already agreed upon, etc.
@sean6387 And such narrow corridors to use.
I thought the same to be honest.
@@sean6387 I couldn’t agree more, 10 plus crew in that space, small oven ( admittedly there might be more elsewhere) and such a small prep area.

Very interesting tours. I think that only you could run this comparison style video Nick. Look forward to seeing more of these in the future ...
Glad you enjoyed it!
What a vessel! This is one of the most impressive ones! I love this one.
Stunning yachts nick really are
The owner who specified this yacht loves Cartoons “Night Fury” is a modern classic. Wonder if they’re neuvu riche.
must say i was a little underwhelmed by this one. particularly by the owners cabin. beautifully presented.
One of your best videos Nick as the comparisons were seamless. I love them both but would have a hybrid of the two as the fittings. The galley was one,of the better I’ve seen and the fly deck is a cracking option. Really enjoyed this one Nick. Cheers
Glad you enjoyed it! 🙂
Thank you very much! 🙂
@@AQUAHOLIC you are very welcome Nick I appreciate what you bring us,for what is life without a dream are two 😉
OMG, I just saw that yacht on Davids site and thought, I must see a walkthrough. Thank you very much for that!
Glad you enjoyed it! 🙂
Am I the only one that thinks the guest rooms were nicer than the master cabin in terms of design? The stone on the walls was much more interesting in the guest cabins than the bland white upholstery of the master. Talking about the first boat.
I love super yachts 👋🤩👉✨🛥️✨
Thanks Nick! Nice comparison...I didn't "enjoy it." I loved it. Especially the 1st vessel. 😊
Good to hear! 🙂
Great job Nick! It was really nice to see both.
Glad you enjoyed it!
The fact that you done then back to back and we can see the difference... SSG Nick
Glad you enjoyed it! 🙂
Epic Nick 🎉
Two extraordinary yachts - either would suffice, as a gift 😊
Excellent video nick and two beautiful yachts 🛥⛵️🚤👍👍👍👍👏👏👏👏
Glad you like them Jimmy!
Excellent tour
Bit underwhelming for the size, every time you do a tour in a "big yacht " it just reminds me how good the princess x95 really is
This is 10meters bigger than the X95 but they haven't used the space very well
