    If you enjoy checking out Bangkok and other SE Asia spots, consider subscribing. I'll continue to make videos showing the streets in Bangkok and beyond. Thailand is amazing and a great place to visit, work or retire. I'll do my best to show you how to live affordably in SE Asia. Plus, enjoy some great side trips from Bangkok.

    I'm up North and Thailand now but I know the area is I used to stay at the terminal 21 area soi 22 across from the Holiday Inn the place called The Honey House 1 right down the street from Bud's bar across from a Holiday Inn as there used to be about 40 bars right down the street called Queens Park Plaza but they tore it all down maybe you've been there when it was alive back near 2018. I'm up in Northern Thailand as we speak. Thanks again

      Yes, Soi 22 is really changing. They're building a huge facility on the corner of Soi 22 behind the Holiday Inn. An Ikea and huge concert venue is coming

      Queen park was great back then, I still has a place on Soi 22. Haven't been back since Covid, hopefully 2024

      No I just did four years. But my Navy time counted towards my mailman time. So I had 37 years federal time

    Hey shipmate you mentioned the mono properties and how far they are from the BTS. One doesn't necessarily have to walk when the baht busses are available? Love the videos! YN1/RET

      @EagerExpat  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank you so much for watching. It's true. You can take the motor taxi or condo shuttle. I love the baht bus system in Pattaya. There is no real baht bus in Bangkok today. But, there are plenty of large bus options. Bangkok is a great city

      I've done two or three videos inside Lotus, Big C, Villa, and Tops markets. Showing the layouts and prices. One was called my rent, is $450, but my junk food is $11. But, I'm sure I'll be back in the Lotus soon

    I knew a bar girl who lived in C-One. Paid 7k a month for a furnished room including bills and internet.
    Im aspiring to buy a place in Fair Tower.

      I'm not sure about prices. Like anywhere in the world, things will go up. Still, I had buddies that paid $2500 for a studio in San Diego. That will probably be $3000 soon. So whatever the cost, it's still a bargain

    • @EagerExpat
      @EagerExpat  ปีที่แล้ว

      This video is kind of old. Not sure what I said about Cheap Charlies. It was a great little spot on Soi 11. It moved to Soi 50 around 2018? I thought I showed the place in the video. It's still fun. Nothing else to explain. It's just a place all the people in On Nut go on Soi 50
