@@samwilson7898 it does not, but it can run out kind of quickly depending on how much you use it. As an engineering student I quickly run out of ink. I’m currently looking for alternative refills that are compatible. If worse comes to worse I’ll just make a modified ink chamber based off the JK gel refills
Thanks for the comparison! Such a bummer that both the G-750 and the G-450 take the multi-pen sized JK refills. So many of Zebra's other gel pens use the LV refills that have much greater variety.
@@MrWhaataythe sarasa is also nice, it might even write better than the 750, i only got the 750 cause i lost my sarasa dry and wanted to try something new but stay with zebra
My small nitpick: I wish they removed the white writing on the middle band that says "MED . GEL". Seems unnecessary to me and would contribute better to the pen's aesthetic. I tried rubbing out the paint but it won't come off easily without really destroying the surface of the band, so I'm not going to do that, and removing it is not ideal either since there is a small gap that looks and feels bad. Also the red sticker on the top I'm not a huge fan of, but they do come off easily so it's not a huge deal.
I like the G350 better. The body/ shape while not my fav zebra shape, it deff is not bad..... but the way it writes is just so smooth with little to no skipping.
have you found a refill that you can hack? I couldn’t get the the little pilot knock refill to fit in it like you could do with the f701. Thanks great vidoes
@@unsharpen Personally unless i could find it in a local store , the prices of new pens you have in U.S are much higher here in amazon .spain (ex.the kit with the 701+G-750 ) costs in amazon spain is 50 €,maybe in the future (if the prices drop ). Maybe the 701 bp refill ,fisher PR4 or the pilot Hi.teC could work? ( the last refill with some modifications i assume) I ask you cause some people in reddit want to know if you have some range in refills. The pen is good looking in my opinion (both the g-450 and the g-750), but if you don't have compatibility kinda kills the pen. Some people have use the pilot acroball with some shortening of the refill ,so theres that. Thank you for responding, have a good day.
I would love to see it compared to the F-701 and a side by side and if the refills are compatible. I would love this one, but with the fisher hack lol.
I have both, prefer the smaller size and rubber grip of the 450. The G-350 is great too and uses the larger capacity refill (which writes about the same as the low capacity JK refills).
i love that such video exists. LMAO.. god bless those that have time to review pens. lol. never gave them a second thought and was curious what was the difference between the g450 i have and this 11 minute video exists. LMAO to have such a long video about the subjects is amazing. lol thank you for this
Does anyone else notice a rattling from the button on the G750? My first one rattled so bad that I returned it, the second one was a bit better but still not perfect. Not sure if I just got unlucky or the tolerances on the button are off.
I got the 450. It's nice. I prefer the smaller size and the rubber grip. Btw, when you say the 750 is "all metal" does that mean it has metal internals, unlike the 450?
I prefer the rubberized grip and the metal tip design of the 450; I wish it had the 750's length. Branding the pen with the type of ink (G for Gel) and the model number (450) makes perfect sense. I understand the MED branding is because Zebra only offers a 0.7 mm tip for this pen. Still, I'd rather see "ZEBRA" and "JAPAN" than "MED" and "GEL"? Also, why make the center ring a separate, removable piece and why not offer 0.5 mm tip refills without having to buy a whole separate pen? Perhaps they bank on consumers wanting a 0.5 tip refill that they would be willing to spend extra to retrieve it from a separate pen. Ha, I won't be doing that! Thanks for the video!
G-450 Details: unsharpen.com/pen/zebra-g-450-gel-pen/ . This pen is a great deal.
Amazon messed up and I ended up getting an extra 2 g750’s for free! Absolutely love the pen, but the ink runs out super quick
Lucky boi..:)

Totally agree.
Its really the biggest turn off... Its like zebra has a home run idea but just hits the wall instead
Agree 100%
So out of the more than 80,000 model numbers Zebra offers, which should I get? Zebra Sarasa Dry?
@@MrWhaataythe sarasa is also nice, it might even write better than the 750, i only got the 750 cause i lost my sarasa dry and wanted to try something new but stay with zebra
The 750 is just a great looking metal pen. But that refil. Come on zebra it is like a refil out of a multi pen.
Just ordered both! Very excited.

The g750 is my favorite edc pen right now.
Going to switch to the big idea design slim click soon.

Still relevant!

What refill did you use ? Blue 1.0 ? Have a link ?

Hey Sal have you tested compatibility with other refills in the g750?
No. I’ve been lazy about this. Have you tried yet? Any suggestions?

I just discovered these pens. Your video is very thorough and informative. It helped me decide to buy them! Thanks!🙂
Glad it was helpful!
Been waiting for them for a while. Finally! 👌
Thanks! Glad I finally got it done

Me using a 5 cents pen .. :)

Hi how is the G750 different from the Grand Sarasa Vintage? Will they take the same ink?
Different refill shape so while both have gel ink the refills are not interchangeable
@@unsharpen thank you! Which among the two would you recommend? :)
Both are great. If I had to choose I’d get a sarasa grand
So can you still use standard refills?
Question. I love my G 750 clip! But is there an aftermarket timascus clip? That would be Boss level if there was!
Not that I know of.
Well shoot, it's still a 10/10 EDC pen
I imagine with the 450 bottom on 750, could just hide the spot with an o-ring.
But the pen sticking out will be shorter. I imagine the 450 bottom tread is longer creating o-ring space and shorter pen tip exposure.

Unfortunately this model is made in China, not Japan.
29 grams! That's heavy indeed.
Could I use a Sharpie S gel refill in either of these?
No that refill is too large
@@unsharpen awesome, thanks for the quick reply!
Refill is too small unfortunately. The pentel, uni ball, g2 and sarasa gel refills are much larger and better.
That 450 grip reminds me of a Pentel Smash.
I love this comparison I just wish they did away with that red piece on the 750 I just got another one hopefully it doesn't come off so easily.
I personally like removing the red stickers on both of mine. I think it looks nicer without it.
Can someone link amazon link that will refil the 750!

You can change it to a 0.5mm
@@johnf.894 how? I do think they sell fine point refills?
Wish these were available in the uk :(
Awesome stuff!
Currently the 750 is cheaper than the 450 on Amazon

Yes the jk refill is sold in 1.0 unsharpen.com/refill/zebra-jk-gel-pen-refill/
thx for the video😊😊
So basacly ia the same pen they ahould change the refill not the outside only they run out to fast
