Oh man. This is my game !!!! I'm a Deputy Sheriff and pens are my thing. Right now. It's a Rotring 600 with a Schmidt 9000 easy flow. But any other day is a Uniball Jetstream 1.0 But sometimes I use a Zebra 701 with a F 1.0 blue refill.
My go to pen when writing important text is my Rotring Rapid Pro with the Uni Prime Twist mechanism (SXR-600-07) ink refill. It's literally my dream pen. I tried using a Rotring 600 but I couldn't handle the "Ticking" sound of the ink refill clicking in the barrel tip as I wrote. The Rapid pro seems to be manufactured with better tolerances and I don't get that pronounced click every time my pen hits the page.
I literally have the rotring 600 with the easyflow 9000 F which is supposed to be a .7 but feels like a 1mm. I don't like the weight or the grip on the 600. I like lighter pens
The Uni Jetstream 1.0 is my all time favorite writing experience. The Uni Ballpoint Pen Jetstream 3 Color Black, Red, Blue Ink 1.0mm, Transparent is my at home desk every day driver and I'd have to fight my wife for the last one if they ever discoed them. The Sarasa is the only gel pen/ink I've ever liked and I do have a Grand in my drawer as well for those times when I need a Gel. Nice Video.
Love the acro in clear red. Looks great and writes well. Blen is a constant favorite, even their multi. I had one of my pocket pens unscrew on me this morning. That was annoying. No pen leak, but irritating. Have a trip coming up, so I've got my ensso uno pens and pencils ready to go, and an ohto hex 3 in 1. Great video today !
Amazing.. The best part is that in addition to writing smoothly, they are also all very good looking pens.. Thank you 🙏 great video and recommendations as always..
I've just discovered the Barnes & Noble near me carries Uni Jetstream pens, and I am sooooooooo happy. None of the other stores around me carried these in person.
@@unsharpen our daily carry goes something like: 1. Assortment of fountain pens woth different nib sizes and different inks 2. A fancy ballpoint pen for low quality paper 3. A ballpoint pen to lend out because god forbid someone tries to borrow my fountain pens 😅
@@kanecitizen I have a drawer with some lower end stationary in it (Parker Jotters, Lamy M16 ballpoint pen, Energel BLN-75 and Penbbs494 & Platinum Meteor) just to have less clutter on me for travelling per public transport
The point on losing and borrowing is aces . I was lucky in college that I was known as the dude with Japanese stationary so when I lost anything they held it for me 😂
The Blen is one hell of a pen, used it when I was in the fire service, the ink has both the pros of ballpoint and gel ink without their cons, it absolutely slays, wish it was a bit slimmer though
I love the Jetstream and was just experimenting, and the refills fit into the Energel Metal pens perfectly when you pull off the end spacer (I used the refill from the capped Jetstream).
I got a 10-pack of the Jetstream Lite Touch 0.7 and they're my favorite disposable pens ever! I really wish they had a Parker-style refill because I just got a Studio Neat Mark One and never want to use any other ink than the Lite Touch
Yea. Not disposable. Sometimes you have to wonder what people are thinking when they buy stuff. Oh well, that's what makes a market! And a Parker Style refill. 😱
Very nice video, thank you! Out of those I think my favorites are the Jetstream and the bLen. I’d also love to see how you store your pens, I image you have a pretty nice stock, and I’d be interested to see how you manage to have a nice rotation in order to use every single one.
It's always interesting to note writing equipment used by others, as it may be telling in many ways. Be it a Bic stick, Lamy Al Star or beyond..condition and how it's carried are "windows into one's soul"....ah, not sure I'd go THAT far, but you know what I mean!
Great selection, I've been using Pilot BegreeN B2P Ecoball of late. I bought them purely out of curiosity but the ribbed (water bottle like) design is oddly comfortable and they are cheap enough I don't mind losing them. Those and Pentel EnerGel X 0.7mm BL107 are my go to's but I will need to get some of your options to try.
Love your videos, i like the pens, and yes they are every day but most (except Zebra Sarasa) are 2.50 and up, 4 x Jetstream Sport 1.0mm for 13 bucks Maybe am cheap or mean But if you walk way my 3.25 gel pen am following you and taking it back
I have tried at lot of pens. I'm in Asia now so lots of selection. The old standbys are still the best. Like the Jetstream Sport. Anything new is just fiddling around the edges. I have enough pens for a number of life times. Seems a bit ridiculous. But cheaper than smokes or booze 😂🎉😅
For the most part my daily driver is the Zebra Sarasa X20 plus in either black or blue in 0.7.......I am looking for a ball point option which is always hard because my OCD always picks up on the ink skipping.
I've used Jetstreams. It's a good pen...at the beginning, that is. At the middle of the refill's life, the ink fades and eventually dries with still a lot of ink left. That's my experience with all the Jetstreams I've used. Do you guys experience that too?
Totally solid choice. Pentel hasn’t innovated at the rate of the others so there are less new/cool varieties but I’d carry an Infree or Philography every day.
Not much thought required for me. Solid 'yes'. A 0.5/0.7 and an Acroball are a frequent on-the-go duo for me. Appreciate/enjoy the consistent performance.
That newer Jetstream has my attention but I don't wanna do yet another haul. Are these refills also available for jetstream multipens? That would be more convenient to me as I do have a couple of those multipen Jetstreams. I do however own a Acro evo and it is great at the office

The zebra f 1.6 bold is awesome if you need to get aggressive.

Hey there !
I love your channel and I love your postings that talk about your everyday use pens !
Thank you so much!
Great to see your personal faves !!

My local B&N closed😢
I’ll have to stop by next time i see one. Thanks for the tip
Us fountain pen folk don't carry a daily driver pen, we carry a pen arsenal 😅
Ha true. I really try to limit myself to 2 or 3 (or 4)

I use the Zebra F-701 with the Fisher refill. A heck of a combo for less than $10.
How did you get a fisher refill for under 10 dollars

Thanks for stopping by
I love all of these pens but uni Jetstream sport 1 mm is best of all😊
Nice video. I use a Sheaffer taranis fountain pen as my daily.
Excellent selections! Seeing the bLen in more US stores w/ gel ink. Swapped in a Surari/EQ 0.7 refill made it a daily driver.
I've never felt a gel ink that felt smooth. Nothing like a smooth ballpoint
Very nice selection.

How are they disposable? You can put a different ink cartridge or the same one. They have refills for them now

Oh wow that’s a fun one. Haven’t used that one in years

Nope. I have Jetstream Sports that are 10 years old and still write like new.

I think the multipen refill is available through importers

pentel gel pen is the best
I rather have a nice pen than these throw away pens. Even if nicer is a $30 pen.
Fair. Rotring 600 for example is a fantastic everyday pen. I’ve just migrated cheaper over time.
